U guys should try eighth scale nitro. U seem to be going that direction and with few tweaks you'd have good track for it. Eighth scale is popular right now and the 8th scale community is quite large. The performance U get form modern 8th cars is pretty good. 8th truggy is pretty popular and they're pretty cool, 8th buggy is pretty good too. They're both electric and nitro.
Back in the 2,000's developers were trying to make rc racing easier for people to get into and they did that for a couple years but it back fired. The cars now run so much better so much more efficient so much faster handle so much better so now the tracks are next level in the competition is next level so it's just as hard as it always was and even harder for beginners to just get an RC car and race. The competition now is so advanced, it would seem almost impossible to start at the bottom unless u got someone showing and teaching u how to do this
Xray xb8 is a joke. I bought it but is an overpriced composite platform. When I bought the car I wasn't looking for an economy kit I wanted a competition race car in the xb8 is not that. It's it was 750 bucks and it's just a basic cheap can't you can't even get any upgrades for it it's garbage x-ray needs to stay in their Lane what's 10 scale touring
