PC-21 - No. 2 Flying Training School Graduation Flight 

Congrats! Huge day! Well done! Would be cool if each active squadron had a handful of these so pilots could get in flying hours on basic stuff when the fast jet airframes are otherwise occupied. USAF B-52 units used to do that years ago so co-pilots could get hours.

Just catching up with this now. Fantastic. The clarity and colour of the video was amazing. When you all lifted off for departure, it played with my head for a bit. Felt like I was moving for a second. Think the eyes and brain were disagreeing how to process the image. belated big congrats to you all.

I've got a question. Does anyone know what squadron these PC-21s are a part of? I've done a bit of research which is pointing to the 79th squadron, but it's still unclear because the insignia on the tail fins doesn't match up with what I've researched

I have a serious question, I understand that you get selected for Fast Jet Pilot (FJP) if you do well in No.2 flight school whilst training. I wanted to ask what these marks or the judgement is based off of? As of now I only believe it is based off of: -Night Flying -Formation Flying -General understanding of aviation and academic results I know that the RAAF channel might not respond, but if someone with experience could please tell me that would be amazing!

well it seems any chances I may have ever had of getting into RAAF pilot training are done, given my current age above the cut-off. But hopefully I can at least obtain a PPL and Aerobatic rating, not quite as amazing, but should still be awesome none the less.
