[PC-98 Remix] Last Remote (Touhou 11)

Morning all! This is an authentic PC-98 remix of "Last Remote", the extra stage theme of Touhou 11 "Subterranean Animism". To mark the memorable occasion of this channel's one year milestone, (and make a bit of a Christmas present for a friend) I decided to answer a question nobody asked, namely "what if ZUN decided to use PPZ8 and stretch the PC-98 to its max limits?" Much like the madoka video, this one ended up being very nice and expressive at the cost of nearly melting my emulator.

@@pianist1413 that is part of the reason but i just love the music for itself and funny enough the my most favorite extra theme is 'A never before seen world of nightmares" and that is the only one that i didnt get to play (due to a certain clown) lol

This is amazing work! You’ve given me something to binge listen to now 😍😍😍 I have a question where did you find the emulator for this sound chip? I’ve been searching for a PC98 sound chip emulator for a long time and have had difficulty finding one. Thanks in advance. This is truly beautiful. I keep going back to the PC-98 tracks. I just can’t get enough of that YM2608/OPNA in all of its glory

Thanks! I use an emulator called Neko Project II for recording all my videos. It also works great with running any sort of PC-98 software.

@@asi14 I think I have neko project 2. Thats what I use to play the retro games. I think I was meaning to ask about the plugin? Like how do you get to use the PC98’s instruments to create songs I guess is what I was trying to say. My apologies haha. I searched for a plugin a while ago, but couldnt find anything. I’m still fairly new to composition/production sorry in advance

@@DIVISIONBYZEROE Oh that's what you meant! Yeah, there's several ways of making PC-98 songs; I use Professional Music Driver (PMD) which is what ZUN himself used in the 90s. Most people nowadays use BambooTracker or a VST from FL Studio or something.
