PC Engine Longplay [372] Puyo Puyo CD (JP) 

Man, I miss when Arle was the protagonist, the older games had a really lot of charm. The pre-battle dialogues were my favorite part, those were really funny and had great spritework, especially in Puyo Puyo Sun. We miss you Compile.

The version where Arle is voiced by none other than Ms Sailor Moon herself, Kitono Mitsuishi.

24:58 (Arle») "Santa!" The Dark Prince Satan hates being called by that amalgam for a name. (Of course, it became a bit of a running joke.)

The voice for Satan in this port became Ex's JP voice in Puyo Puyo Tetris, about 20 years later!

0:45 I guess the CD version is probably the best out of all of the second Genesis ones. It’s got HD graphics, better music, even voice acting 0:45 which is definitely weird.

The one where Sailor Moon battles Sora Takenouchi, Deathsaurus, Ayane, Dozle Zabi, Captain Falcon, Akane Tendo, Umi Ryuzaki, Kars, and Shuta Go, in order to stop an evil plot hatched by Franky. (If you guys can guess all the references, I would be surprised.)

The voice actress sounded like Doremi and Anna(Megumi san).. OMG, it's Sailormoon 三石 琴乃!?

There are some games where you ask yourself if you've seen them somewhere before. Then there are some games that take a game's clothes and prances around while wearing said clothes and pretending to be the original game. In short, this game is a Mean Bean Machine knockoff...
