This can run on Windows 98/95 and Windows XP 32 Bit computer desktop/laptops can't not run Windows 7,8,8.1 and 10 64 Bit computer desktops/Laptops and now it can play with DosBox Pure.
My dad worked for gateway computers back when they still had stores, and he'd come home with random computer games all the time. This and sonic CD were two of my favorites.
I used to play the game so many times, many of the jokes just flying right over my head. But I always get instant flashbacks, when I her certain blips of sound or soudntrack
This is still the best video-game version of life, Has the most love put into it. Quirky comic pieces, the mini-games in the enhanced mode were great. The same way Sorry! from 1998 was the best video-game version of Sorry! to date..
I used to play this on my dad's computer (the only Windows in our house, I think--my mom had a Mac for her graphic design work) on the rare occasions that I would be home when he wasn't using it. :)
I also enjoyed the board game version, although I remember that my goal (for whatever reason) was to collect as many children as possible. I would try to buy them from other players. Sometimes I had to get a different car to lug the babies behind us. Haha... I still want kids someday but... not that many.
Love the golf hole that moves and the guys jaw dropping. I had the game and was playing it. When my mom saw that jaw dropping, she cracked up laughing.
An unfortunate fact of this game is that your spins are pre-programmed so your entire route is indeterminate of your "spin power." Found this out by using a save state function.
@@graecynmueller8749 Yes I still have it. But you can also find it on sites where old PC games are preserved. You'll need to run it in Windows XP XP3 compatibility mode though.
I got this, Monopoly and a few other games in a box for like £7. I played them all so often because I love these types of games but my family never had the patience for it.
Wait... so the only way it will work in WinXP is if it's 16-bit. But it works on my WinXP computer. Bought it 3 months ago, and installed it and it works fine.
A, uh, weird news article when I googled that odd flu attack name: As the world questions the use of “Wuhan Flu” to describe the current pandemic, Hasbro has quietly removed the “moo shu flu attack” space from the board game Life. An insider tells Velvet Hamster “What are the chances, you know? It was always a little bit racist, but in a fun way. Now, it just seems wrong.” Going forward, Hasbro has chosen to rename the space with the more sensitive name “Kung Flu”. What the heck is "a little bit racist, but in a fun way" from a huge kid toy company no less?
