I do agree with you but one of the reasons why they did that is because they were having church in a hotel and thats why plus usually at the conventions they have multiple services. Most churches run on time because members don't like to be in church all day. So mainly churches do that to appease the people.
@@iawashington2000 Good point. Also for broadcast reasons where the church (or whatever the organization) is alotted a block of time, and a running clock keeps things on track to fit everything in.
