@@____________________ok precision isn't provided by the steppers (mostly) but rigidity of the body, small tolerances of slides and ball screws. Working at non-resonant speeds also important.

@@____________________ok Most of steppers on hobbytist market are 200 full-steps per rotation. Some are 400. Stepper drivers usually drive them at 16 microsteps (I use 64 microsteps for a low noise run). Precision of a servo motor depends on either analog to digital converter of the controller or steps-per-rotation of the encoder and control algo. I got resin, flament 3d printers and CNC3020 mini mill. All use open-loop steppers. If something goes wrong about print quality due to non precise dimensions it's not because the steppers or stepper drivers but either loose belts, high clearance linear guides or non-rigid articulation due to high temp which are all 3d printed PLA. CNC3020 (similar to this product) has more than 1mm of leadscrew clearence in opposite directions. If you apply little force to toolhead carrier it bends noticibly. CNC3020 is made off aluminun extruded profiles, bakelite columns and suface hardened steel and linear bearings. www.aliexpress.com/item/32917408111.html isn't the solution to my problems I'm planning to redesign/re-print PLA parts of my 3D printer by using ABS flament, replace lead screws of my CNC3020 with ball lead screws, replace linear ball bearings with more rigid linear rails.

not only schools, but internet plays a big part, for example you can choose what content to watch, but usually people like to watch dumb things instead of this, you can watch and just skip, or you can try to find out what it takes to learn this and start doing it yourself, I'm not excluding me from this, sometimes I loose time on useless content, but sometimes I learn useful things too

Yeah I think they just want factory workers - even the stem programs here don’t have this available for those kids and learners who want to go a bit further

You can have the pcb within a few hours. Usually, I order my pcbs, but sometimes I need a pcb NOW. Then it is great, if you have everything needed at home. I do not own a milling machine, I'm using toner transfer and etching.

How do you drill all the holes. Do you have a cheap CNC for this job

I think that all plastic parts can be printed on 3D-printer. It can be hard to cut PCB so precisely without CNC machine, so, maybe, it will be better to redesign the case for fixing all parts with screws. Or place all parts to the square corrugated cardboard with thermoglue )

Yes, i agree but these companies are breaking the barriers of having a milling machine for a hobby consumer market. This cnc is still cheaper than it;s competitor V-One made by Voltera. Eventually in the future we will buy them like 3D printers

I agree its 2500$ for a machine and about 1k for a uv exposer which u can extract from a resin printer but the again i think this is better if u dont have access to dissolving compounds
