What's the talk about?
Claire and James are PCD scientists in Southampton. They tell you how they became scientists and what goes on in the laboratory to diagnose PCD with all the equipment they use. From electron and fluorescence microscopy to high-speed video of cilia; they tell you everything you need to know about what happens to your nasal brushing samples... including growing your nose cells in a dish!
