There are not résistance on the wiring diagram. Using 330 ohm is too huge for 5v , need 220 Or 150 on each led for current limitation. Therefore IS a great job buddy I m looking for library and had some trouble with . Finally i get adafruit one from Arduino ide.

is there any library to make it simple?

Purpose of this tutorial is to learn the basics and also you can create your own library from scratch by creating functions from this. 😊 also there are many libraries available online you can find one easily

@@SMtrainingacademy The 8 Led should get the ground from the PCF8574 as its sinking current IC i dont know how worked with you > the 8Led should be connected to 5V common and get the ground from the 8 output individual >> i tried your way many times but failed to work unless i change the anode and cathode >>

@@erbilshops3029 ya I just now got it thanks for the information it is just a open drain output line so it must work with just a pull ups to port line provided I think so, maybe I got the output since it’s just a simulation. Are you trying it in hardware..?

@@SMtrainingacademy Yes i am trying in Protues and i got mad how it worked with you .. do you know other way that i can get it with common cathod Rgb led ? or any suggestion for similar IC without Pull up..

@@erbilshops3029 actually I have used the IC for driving 16x2 lcd in 4bit mode it worked fine in hardware where I just drive the lcd through gpio of pcf8574 ic
