Hey I've a doubt. When we use a pcie gen 4 x8 card on a pcie gen 3 x16 slot does the card's bandwidth gets reduce to pcie x4 ? Like does the other 4 lanes of the card stop working as we connected it to a pcie gen 3 slot ? Weird question but I heard it somewhere.

Bro I have Msi B450 Tomahawk Max motherboard which has PCIe 3.0 x16 slot.If I use RTX 4060 paired with Ryzen 5 5600X,will I face any difference in FPS for using gpu in PCIe 3.0 x16 slot.Will I experience almost no difference like you have showed in this video?Plz bro reply to my comment.

So in order to enable PCI 4 on pc we need a CPU ( PCI 4 support ) and a good motherboard right ? I want to buy an Arc A750 ( Pci4 x16 ) or a 6650 XT (pci 4 x8) . Do they have any difference ? I want to get full potential of my pc . My cpu is 5600 and mother board is B550 Gaming X V2 Gigabyte

RX 6650 XT is a better option, a lot better than ARC A750.

I didn't understand your point. If you intended to say that the 6650 XT operates at x8 and believed that the A750 is superior because of x16, since the 6650 XT is designed to use x8 lanes, it means that the 6650 XT chip utilizing x8 lanes will not impact its performance on motherboards supporting x8 or even x16.

I think that 5600g can handle it with all those games and those settings without problems.

Hi, will it be ok to combine RTX 4060ti with i5 10400F, Prime H410M-R motherboard, 700W PSU and 16GB RAM? I'm just afraid that the graphics card won't be able to run at full power and the motherboard might not fit. Will it be ok? I have everything except the graphics card

It won't be able to run at full power since it's PCIe 3.0 and GPU is 4.0, but that's not the worst thing, CPU bottleneck will be. So yeah you won't get full potential of 4060 Ti, but that's the best you can go.

I have a GTX 1060 3gb right now and willing to upgrade it, but my main concern is that i have i3 10100f and 16gb ram. I think an 3060 or 4060 will heavily bottleneck the performance with i3. So can anyone suggest me the best I can get with this i3. I can't upgrade processor because also have an h410m.

I would go for rtx 4060 on your place and use higher settings to avoid cpu bottleneck. Then you can upgrade motherboard and cpu later or just cpu for like i7 10700. Also it depends which games you play?

@@edwardbenchmarks here rise another issue, I also have an 1080p 144hz monitor, on an 4060 with highest settings, it will still have bottleneck. If I had an 1440p monitor then I wouldn't have had a big bottleneck

Bro you can use rtx 4060 with i3 10th but it depends on game if it's very cpu dependent like tlou then you will face bottleneck but like alan wake 2 you will have 100% gpu power. Because of cpu usage.

maybe only using 8 lanes out of 16 PCIE lanes is the reason why there is almost no difference.

My channel focuses on testing graphics cards. All the graphics cards I test are showcased in 30 percent of the videos and, of course, on the community section. All my benchmarks are recorded using a capture card without FPS drops, tested more than once on two different configurations to confirm the validity of the tests. I don't know which channels you watch; there are only a few that produce fake benchmarks. However, channels like GAMING Bench, Karan Benchmarks, 54FPS, Rasporilac, Zwormz Gaming, etc., are channels dedicated to serious testing where it is absurd to say that I don't trust them or that they are fake.

I'm sure channels like GAMING Bench, Karan Benchmarks, 54FPS, Rasporilac, Zwormz Gaming, etc., are dedicated to providing accurate information, but my skepticism is more about the broader landscape of online content rather than specific channels.
