It's super cool you're mostly showing the scenery and not talking bs like most of the PCT or other trail walkers do. It's also super cool that you're doing this in your youth. Happy trails.

Luckily we've already gone through that section in May of 2019. But we will still come back to finish it out!!!

Juust a hint..un-buckle your packs when going thru fast and deep water. You can lose the pack, but not your life...Happy Trails

Yeah we made it as far as Saddle Junction (we were breaking the trail) and decided not to try Fuller Ridge. Conditions were pretty bad between Apache and Saddle Junction because of the Snow storm they had a day prior. -Zag

I don’t mean to be THAT guy, but the Sierras are going to be much tougher than San Jacinto when you make it here. We’ve got a ton of snow that’s not going to be all melted away by July.

@@sadieandzag 2:48 that looked pretty scary. Non-firm snow like that affects heavier hikers, and requires early morning crossing. PCT hikers should not automatically skip forwards, but at least get a "taste" of the San Jacinto for Sierra prep. You guys did your best.
