Gorgeous scenery! Like others...it is great you introduce people. Would that be the yellow legged frogs? It is so strange y’all are walking in the clouds. Y’all tend to be blesses with really nice camp spots. Yummy Milo!

Views were fantastic! Use your space blanked as your sleeping bag liner, you will be toasty. I did this on the top of Mt. Long in Colorado (elev. 14,200). Worked like a charm. Good Luck!!!!!

I can only imagine how difficult it must be to make these videos while on the trail! You're doing such an amazing job :) It is really fun getting to see what you're doing more "real time" on insta and then get the back story here. .....Gr8 vlog....Nick is just so at home with it all......Loved the scene at baden-powell......attaching nylon cord on all corners of the tent base-loops...then attach to whatever...generally largish rocks...is better than tent pegs.Stay well team.

Wrightwood is definitely the gold star on trail this year and most likely also for years to come. The era of several other notable locations is coming to an end - one or two more years for those places maybe, idk for certain. The trail is dynamic - not just the weather, but towns, wildfires some years, area closures (environmental, etc.), and, of course, the people. I've been impressed by many of the folks I've met who weren't on trail - Trail Angels And others. Not all towns are equal, but the towns near the trail are radically different than the coastal cities in California.

Congratulations. You are a beautiful couple and I like to watch your videos. Then your boyfriend is Kiwi and I love New Zealand. In fact, last season, I did Te Araroa and in a couple of years I will do the PCT. I therefore follow you with great interest. I would like just ask two easy questions please: 1) Which date did you leave Campo? 2) I saw you carry 4 bottles of water. Are they just for you or both? Thank you! Giulio (Italy) :)

We left Campo April 21 and yes, 4 bottles all for me! It’s necessary when it’s a long water carry stretch 😊

When the mashed taters starts getting dull - well, here's what I did: mix 'em up kinda dry, then do a tater fry in oil (butter if available). By experimenting I found it best to go thin (thicker than tortillas, thinner than pancakes). Done right with a few final shakes of salt and you get a big funny french fry 😄

Saw you july 11 on the sección between Donahue pass and tuolumne Meadows, I was 4 miles about to cross Donohue pass when my wife got injure and we have to come back on mile 32 of the JMT.

So what? Little Skittle made it there in 23 days and she's keeping a blistering pace of 20+ miles, regularly.

@@oceandrew 20 miles a day is not "blistering". I was 80lbs overweight and started in the sweltering summer heat of late May and did 20 miles my first day and 22 miles my second. 20 miles a day is just what you need to complete it on time. The "blistering" guys, and girls, were 30+ from the start.
