Laurie Ann Gibson was the choreographer on the Making the Band show. He fired her after beating her up back then, supposedly caught on camera at the time by MTV. I don't know what "keeping him free" means other than maybe alluding to her not speaking out against him after what he did to her and she likely saw a lot before that since she worked for him for years before that.
