I enjoy your videos. I work on the maintenance department for a large car wash company in the Albany NY area. We have a mix of PDQ systems (4000's, G5, and 360's) The best system by far is the PDQ 360. If you are ever in the area, stop in, we have several touch free bays around the area.
Great Video! Apparently all of us shall refer car washes to "Warshes" XD Anyway, If you want to see G5-S's, come to central florida! lol, they are on almost EVERY corner, so i'm sick of them cx. Also, The G5 is a completely different (And rare, because it was only produced >3 years) system from PDQ. This is a G5-S. The G5 is labeled "G5 Experience" on the bridge, and has a white arm, and a very over engineered pumping system if you want to know the difference lol.
I wasn't aware that there was a difference. Fixed the title. Thanks for the info as always! And I'm not sure if I'm just having bad luck or if PDQ's sales tanked in Missouri after the Laserwash 4000 years. I don't see much of their modern equipment. Just a few Tandems and this thing out of about 70 locations that I've visited.
For best results, wash vehicle by hand completely. Use this as a maintenance wash 2-3 times per week. Do not leave bugs on for more than a day or two at most.
I was thinking, "Well this is a lame warsh.", until about 4:00! Interesting how car warshes have changed over the years. No more brushes beating up your car, or rags. It looks like it did a good job of warshing you car. Yup...it warshed it pretty good. And by the by way... I shoulder surfed an employee of the st louis library once. He pushed the buttons, "B,1,B,3,B" and the, "B" lit up!!!! Needless to say i used this code for many months, sending the elevator to the basement, where the offices that were off limits to the public were, before they figured it out!!! lol Some elevators have secret codes. Can you add any input to this? And does the push and hold the floor and door closed button really work? Any tricks you can share?
Notably, I might only have one local G5. The only other LaserWash near me is a 360 with the arm of a 4000. Supposedly, Car Wash Studios has many G5s in his area. Never really understood the appeal of the G5 when you could get the 360 instead.
I hate laser wash G5 only does one high pressure wash as compared to the laser wash 4000 does two high pressure washes which to me you get a better clean with the laser wash 4000 as you do with the laser wash 4000 my opinion
Three years late but that’s actually dependent upon how the car wash operator programs the machine. If you go to multiple car wash places with the same machine you’ll see that none of them work the same. So in other words, a G5 can have a second high pressure wash typically after the tri foam if the operator sets it to do so.
a laserwash m5 starts in front and the laserwash g5-s starts in the back and plus g5-s's haves bigger arms than m5's do and plus the m5 looks a lot different than the g5-s accept for the signage
