For my first ever video on this new channel, Today, I'm at the Spot Free Car Wash in San Antonio TX (on the access road of loop 1604 just after Braun rd) just near Helotes where they have 2 Laserwash G5-S systems paired with older LaserDri dryers from a Laserwash 4000. This wash has been in service for over 20 years, and has been refurbished a few times over the years, as you can see by the updated signage inside the wash bay. I believe the 2 systems was probably specially ordered back in the day with LaserDri dryers, which are normally sold with the 4000 rather than the G5 which would normally have the standard Max Air dryers (my guess for why the owner did this option was that they liked how the LaserDri dryers actually moved side to side, rather than the Max Air's which are just static). Despite the fact G5's weren't really known to be the best Laserwash systems in the world (even I admit, even the 4000 predecessor was a better system than these), this actually did much better than I expected to. I did buy the top dollar wash package, which at the time was $14 (a bit high for a G5 by today's standards), and as far as wash quality goes, I would rate this a 7/10, undercarriage wash went good (complete with the rotating wheel blasters added on some time during its lifespan), both presoak passes were fantastic, all the zero degree nozzles on the wash arm rotate as they should, tri-foam coverage was fairly decent, but this system does seem to have issues with its pressure pump, which you can kind of notice on the high-pressure rinse cycle which you can hear some faint chugging, especially on the overhead application sprayers when they're spraying to wash off all the tri-foam. However, I do like how the system is cleverly programed to incorporate the high pressure rinse cycle through the wash arm for the 2 surface protection cycles, though I don't understand why it still uses the high pressure cycle for the spot free rinse cycles (I mean, wouldn't the overhead applicators be more suitable for that cycle?), but at least the system moves a bit faster, so there's that, and also the dryers do work decently well for LaserDri dryers, and being that these are actually later models of LaserDri's, they have newer motors for the blowers that make them much more powerful than years ago. I hope you enjoy the video and stay tuned for more car wash videos to come.

Yes, 2 of them actually. I wanted to create this channel so I can build another audience and not alienate the already existing ones on the other channels.
