Funny, right before I left my hometown, I took my dad's car to a wash that had a PDQ Tandem and Laserwash side-by-side and had the exact same problem. And I did exactly what you did.

I don't have family in Jeff City anymore, which is why there's been no content in years. I need to go back some time and revisit all the old famous car washes and elevators.
The Elevator Channel Next time you go there or if you are in the area can you revisit the one car wash in Holt’s Summit? It’s the one that you skipped twice thinking that it’s broken. They have a really rare Raco System. I called and they said it worked.

Hey, just in case you didn't know these systems can be remote-controlled from a web interface and the default password is really insecure. So people can go around hacking into these car washes and potentially make them crash into cars! Dangerous stuff.
