PE-1 - Basics - ALM016 

The PE-1 is a dual band parametric EQ and simple two channel mixer. It is inspired by the EQ circuits used in early ‘Portastudio’ type 4 track tape mixers. PE-1 provides +/-12db of boost and cut across 2 selected frequency bands. The top band ranges from 1kHz - 8kHz and the bottom band from 62Hz - 1.5kHz.
In this video we look at some common uses; a classic EQ, adding warmth & character to a digital source and shaping the feedback loop of a delay patch.
