Ah I’m so glad to hear that! Comments like these really keep me going amidst the occasional “try to crack a smile” and “you have zero personality” type comments 😅 I really appreciate it!
just made these! added some carrot to the peas because i didn’t have enough for two cups, and WOW did not expect these to taste as delicious as they do, gave some to my picky younger brother and he ended up devouring the whole batch ! thank you for the recipe :-)
10/4/22: OMG, these came out so wonderful I'm almost speechless. I added the lemon zest, chives, garlic, and a sprinkle of fresh mint, but I also added, as an extra added bonus, some cilantro; turkey bacon and carrots which I baked in the oven and pulverized in my Vita Mix. Together with the flour, I also added some homemade breadcrumbs (1/2 and 1/2), and good gosh, these came out fantastic! Of course, you set the tone and I just let my creative imagination go wild with adding the rest. I never would have thought to do this ever! Nevertheless, I've got a big batch mixed up in my fridge and I'm gonna fry the rest in the morning to take to the park where some homeless individuals hang out. I think they'll like it. Thank you for taking the time to post this recipe. They enjoy everything I take to them, but I know they'll enjoy this especially...YEA!
Well, I’m obsessed. Made these for lunch. Put them on a cute little bed of pea shoots with some cashew tzatziki. I was not prepared for how much joy can be brought by sprinkling chive flowers on things. Thank you!
Need to dip them in a nice batter and deep fry them OMG yum .Once rolled put in freezer for a little while then dust with flour and dunk in batter and fry .I also like to flatten them to make into a patty shape viola battered mushy pea fritters or patties .
These fritters are so so good!! I used mint, chives, and lemon zest in mine and they were delicious. Topped with tahina sauce of tahini, yogurt, garlic, lime juice, and a little bit of honey. Love them, and can’t wait to experiment with more veggies and spices!
I love zataar where sumac is used properly.. then I ask for chilli flakes when it’s zataar and cheese.. this is in Australia when buying Lebanese pizza from traditional bakeries in Rockdale, a big Lebanese ethnicity suburb in Sydney Australia.
YES I have done them with zucchini too. I guess the potato would help counteract the wateriness. And also, ALWAYS yes to feta. We're all about the feta over here! Thanks for swinging by :)
God i really like her, something about how nonchalant she is makes me feel like shes normal one of us, im just looking for a way to use up a bag of peas and this i what i needed not some fancy french slow cooked duck with a pea honey glaze. Love the video, sad i couldn't see it sooner
I have been making these for years but I use bread crumbs instead of flour. I need to try the flour and baking powder next time. This is also very budget friendly. If I had a small amount of left over meat, not enough for a full meal, I would chop it up and add it.
And then you had to mention eggs benny. You are horrible!!! I don't think I've ever watched someone so rockin their vibe! You're pretty cool lil ms awsum sauce 😎. I'd say I want to have your baby but there's only room for 1 rooster in the hen house 😉. Nicely done!@
