PEACE WALK 2024 in NYC: Part 2 To the Inwood Hill Park

The Peace Walk kicked off on May 7 in Maine, organized by Veterans for Peace. They are walking to Washington, DC, for peace and planet, justice and democracy. The 700-mile journey will arrive in DC on July 5.
On June 4, the walk started in the Bronx and crossed the University Height Bridge into Manhattan. Inwood Hill Park Owl led a ceremony at the corner of the field, which was once a main Native American village. After walking up to Fort T%ryon Park, they had a gathering at Fort Washington Collegiate Church. Then, the walk crossed the George Washington Bridge into New Jersey.
