That’s why I don’t want to move from Alabama. Used to want to live in big cities, but just visiting them is too much hustle and bustle. I’d rather just travel and continue living in Alabama.
Arri Thank you for making this video my husband and I want to move in the south with warm weather because it’s so cold in the Midwest where we from we needed this advice and input on things and I truly believe in living below your means I need to keep looking Thankmyou dear. ❤😊
Right now lm struggling, l pay rent which is ridiculous, lm living from paycheck to paycheck, l want to be able to have something left over, but majority of it is it rent, but lm trusting in God to make a way for me, it's so stressful at times
My husband and I did this in 2022. We sold our home in GA and moved on his family land in Mississippi. We also bought a doublewide. It has 5 bedrooms and two sitting rooms. It took us a long time to find just the home we were looking for. You are correct about building a home. The prices are ridiculous. We found a great plan and the builder was only charging $65K to build it. However, we live in North MS and he only builds in South MS. When we took the plans to builders in our area, they wanted $200K to build it. We paid $120K for our 5 bedroom mobile home which is much bigger than the home that we were looking to have built. Best decision we ever made. We hired a contractor to brick around our home where the skirting is which made it even more appealing. Hubby and I built a front porch on to the house. Although I’m still getting use to having to drive a distance to the grocery stores, I love the peacefulness. We have started gardening as well and having tons of fun doing it. Yes, it’s a lot of work but it is so enjoyable.
New subbie here🥰My hubby and I are in SC...and retired!...Because we grow most of our food and chickens for eggs...The peace is addicting!..we love it!
Alabama the beautiful. You got to be living in north Alabama just from looking at the amount of snow. I'm in South Alabama where it's even more beautiful with warmer temps.
This video is confirmation from God for me! A couple of days ago , I discussed this very topic with my mom. I'm house poor and not able to enjoy anything.
@@ALLTHINGSARRIE I had to jump on to tell you that Dirty Soul Soaps has a 20% off president sale going on! 70 new scents and they even have 3 Kayali scents!
Beautiful home!! I live in a double wide is Mississippi and loving it. Some people think they’re too good to live in one but choose to pay rent or live with their parents. No shame here ❤
That is beautiful! So serene and peaceful! I love the country! You don't have all those loud nosey annoying neighbors to worry about! The city does have the advantage but I'll choose the country anytime! Y'all's home is beautiful! ❤
As a native Houstonian I love the city but im craving this so much. As I get older im feeling myself wanting to live in the country side and experience the peace it has to offer. The hustle and bustle of the city has drained me. I appreciate this video and thank you for giving me perspective, your space is so nice!
Thanks for sharing wisdom! So many people are house poor and struggling unnecessarily. As far as adding on to accommodate visitors, I’m sure Alabama has nice hotels and Airbnb accommodations😆
Oh my goodness … you have such a lovely and calm demeanor. 💕. I totally agree. My husband and I plan on buying a manufactured home and moving out of the city when my kids finish high school in a few years. I’m tired of the big house and all of the upkeep. I’m looking forward to living a more simply life with less stuff. Great video!!
Watching your video for the first time, and I totally agree with what you are saying. I live in Barbados and though it is a very beautiful place, it's very very expensive to live here. Watching videos from people in the usa, you guys don't really understand how good things are with you, because food and clothing are very cheap there, compare to our general cost of living. So I live life, work, pay my bills, buy food and give God thanks everyday ❤❤
I came across your channel watching your fragrance videos. You are such a sweet and calming vibe. I'm from the Northeast, I didn't think it snowed like that in Alabama.
@@ALLTHINGSARRIE ppl just not friendly, I go to church then take myself out to dinner and then go back to my lonely apartment. I'm truly asking God for guidance 🙏
@@michelledouglas-thierry3143 praying for you that God will send you the right connections and friends that will pour into your life. It’s best to keep her circle small.
@@michelledouglas-thierry3143Birmingham is a lonely place because it’s the city. There’s a lot of outsiders from other states and countries. Smaller towns is where you find a “community,” but not every community is as welcoming. Hope you’re able to find your place.💕
New subscriber here 👋🏾 we’re sort of neighbors. I live in N. AL. too. It took several hard knocks for me to learn that my peace is priceless 😊 Lovely video.
Prices are high because our President doesn’t know how to make deals to get the prices down like a our former President did like him or not he’s a businessman and things were cheaper
@@ALLTHINGSARRIE great it’s very lovely bc it seems since not in the city u don’t hve to conform with anything in others words no or very limited to neighbors
I want to do something like this for me and my son, but I’m scared of the rodents lol. I would love the peace and quiet of the land with my home on it, but it is true of mice/rats getting in manufactured homes very easily? How can you prevent this living in the country on your own land?
We haven't experienced that... with newer homes it's not so much of an issue... with older homes I've heard that... when setting up the home it's good to make sure that there are no holes or openings underneath... my husband had to fix a couple of things around water pipes to ensure there were no openings
