@@broncobill3902 Some of my best trips over the years have been solo. 100% all on your own. The alternative would be staying at home. Even when you travel in a group you should still approach it as being self sufficient.
What if he get intona serious injury or accident possibly be buried alive in an avalanche or get eaten by a mountain lion. It's safe to say what he is doing is stupid, why can't people just stay indoors do a job and drink some hot chocolate every morning and evening and just sleep, sounds like a better life than being pathetic enough to live like a cave man lol
I absolutely love these videos that have the best of wheeling, but also the serene music and some of the lower key aspects of camping in the wild. As someone who wishes they could get out into nature more for relaxation, these videos are my go-to every week to vicariously live that life. I also really love the Enya-esque soundtrack. Great work Shaun.
As the old saying goes "a picture is worth a thousand words" the visuals the angles paired with the editing made for such a peacful movie that words would have complecated .. well done im new to the channel but subbed now workin my way through thanks for the content !👍
Shaun, I live my experiences through you. I so want to do what you do and have set up my gladiator as close to yours as possible based on my budget can afford. I hope to be able to take my wife on excursions so she can experience some great sights. As a primary care giver of a cancer patient I can only hope she can have an opportunity to get out and see things that she enjoys. Thank you and I can respect the experience and the lack of commentary which has a spiritual context that I truly understand. That gives me peace, thank you and please take care.

If this doesn't hit home for you and allow you to understand the importance of LIVING your story, I don't know what can! Superb episode even sans your beautifully narrative voice. We really like your once in a while non-voice over videos. It does enhance the peacefulness of your experience and therefore, ours. Thanks for being there, in more ways than one. As in tai chi, even the Trail Destroyer is in moving meditation.

Heck, I have gone on a couple of trips. Planned them for a month in advance with friends. I leave first and expect them to rendezvous at a certain spot/given time.. And they never show. I had a great time.

Normally I love your storytelling, but thank you for speaking in this video. It just added to the solitude and starkness of one person in a vast, ethereal forest, enjoying it for what it is and what it can do for the soul. Can I just say that the new colours on the truck, the wrapping are great when you are travelling with a pack because when you do your drone shots it is easier to work out where you are. Love your channel, your videography is so good and you have a great voice for this.
I got a HEST pad and pulled out the stock GFC pads. Just one side. 4" pad. fits perfectly. More comfortable than my bed at home. The other side I can stow my sleeping bags when I close it down.
You have amazing group adventures but it’s these solo trips that I connect with the most. Such a good way to “disconnect and recharge”. Excellent video! 👍🏻❤️🇺🇸
Just the moment I thought to myself, look at those stunning evergreens, not killed by those nasty beetles, happy to see such a stunning, healthy place on Earth... Then you panned in to the STILL ongoing wildfires... and my heart sunk to the floor To me, right there, is part of a piece of heaven on Earth, somewhere I will never get to go, to see..
