A year ago we decided to partake on a 3 day road trip adventure on the island of Kyushu, travelling from Beppu all the way to Kumamoto along the picturesque Yamanami Highway.
To celebrate the trip's one year anniversary and because we are still staying home to flatten the curve, we decided to release a long video of footage taken back then. Hopefully this allows you to travel directly from the comfort of your house.

I really like the way how you filmed Japan, high quality and no bs through out the video. This is so healing when watching stunning scenery especially with peaceful music background. Once visited Japan you just can’t stop revisiting based on my experience.

I am a Japanese living in Kyushu. This Beppu beach sand bath is really wonderful！You can also experience the sand bath at a nearby historical building called Takegawara Onsen. Yukata rental, shower and large communal bath are available for about 8 USD.

I had planned to travel to Kyushu earlier in March this year but cancelled my plans because of COVID-19. I’m looking forward to when I can experience this for myself first hand.

I'm so jealous! I had a trip planned to kyushu in may to see the flowers in kitakyushu, and circle the east side of island to cape toi, then the west coast back up to the castle cities. :*( but covid cancelled it. Shogunai.

Watched this thinking at first "I hope this isn't a recent trip. The last thing Kyushu needs is people visiting because it has few Covid-19 cases". Glad to read that it was video from a year ago.

Wasn't it allowed to climb up to top edge of volcano? You would've been overwhelmed by a wonder of nature. Kumamoto is one of a few prefectures which has both of mountainous national park and oceanic national park. You missed Amakusa national park.

At the time we could not approach the edge of the volcano due to it being in activity and releasing fumes. And hopefully we can cover the Amakusa National Park in a separate video some day soon!

I'll be 30 next year in late June. It's not 100 percent certain, but I am leaning toward the plan of vacationing to Japan. Specifically the Kyushu region. Do you really recommend it? Looks great! :)

Indeed, this is footage we took from a year old trip (we also posted a video at that time: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3N3XzdpLdmA.html ) Because of the coronavirus situation we had to cancel all our travel plans in the country, so our only option is to edit footage from our archives :)

Hi, I can say Hi/Bye/thank you/where is the restroom in Japanese but that's pretty much it. Do you think it'll be fairly easy for a non speaking Japanese to rent a car in Japan ? Also, I never rent a car in Japan so I don't know but does Google maps work when you drive in Japan ? Or do you know if the car rental place have GPS in English ? Arigatogozaimasu hihi... Alex

Thank you Leon! Actually this is a "relaxing" re-edit of a previous video we released which had explanations and a voice over. Very happy here watching. Does other foreigners dare to yell at Japanese? Well in Singapore many migrants not local yell at Sporean, they think they very big. Can the foreign workers yell at their boss or co workers? Almost 40% of the people here in spore are not local. If 50% of Japan is fill with non Japanese how do you feel. If on street you see all pinoy and india indains. They say they want to vecome Japanese citizen. How Japan people feel.

I LOVE your channel, I really do and I hope you'll take the following suggestions knowing that I mean them only in a constructive sense: Lose the cheesy "thumbs up" reaction shots to white dude eating food, drinking sake, whatever. It's a jarring intrusion to the overall mood that your team does such a good job of creating. It screams "WESTERN TOURIST APPROVES YAYY!!!!" PLEASE either find different music or better yet use none. The stuff here is worse than elevator/waiting room music. It reminds me of the dreaded Muzak, OK Boomer?
