I do love the direction the creator is taking it. More matured, but not unnecessarily valgur, shows a lot of respect for the original show. It is, however, rather melancholic, and while the original show had a very melancholic undertone, it was first and formost a slapstick comedy. I do appreciate the overall idea of dialing down the humor for the sake of story, but it could use a few more jokes and situational comedy. Which the writer has show that he can do very well with his shorts. The first focused on situational humor where other wise it would have just been a scream fest if not for Ed falling out of the sky in his undies, with his karate shinanigans and the second having a few very good jokes throughout a conversation where we cant even see the trio. Still, I am also very impressed by it.
It just reminds me of those early RU-vid days when people made fanart of what the eds would look like in highschool, but it's more melancholy. I really enjoy peach Creek even if it's a couple minisodes and an episode
well I honestly thought Peach Creek was a good series, perhaps one of my favorite animated series to come out this year, along with Agent Elvis, Lackadaisiy, and The Amazing Digital Circus
What I want them to do is give them a show just like Riverdale on the CW like they did Riverdale, but in real life that would be cool if they make a peach creek show like that😌
I enjoyed it but I did find the atmosphere to be bleak to be honest so it could do with being more funny. On the plus side I think the voice acting is very good and spot despite not sounding exactly like the original cast because this is a new series set years later so the voices are going to sound different either way as well as the new look for the show making it stand out on its own. I especially like how may was depicted in the original style of the show when the scene went back in time which was very cool and clever. I hope they do some more.

I have the "complete" series of "Ed, Edd and Eddy" on DVD, only it's *not* complete; while it has seasons 1 - 5 and S6E01, it lacks the four holiday specials and the made for tv movie (Big Picture Show). Does anyone else think that these additional episodes *should've* been included?...
Does anyone know about an attempted *prequel* series, about how everything in the cartooon is Eddy's brothers' fault? The cartoon follows the older sibling as he ultimately sets up the whole series to happen...
Yeah there is definitely a lot going in into the series, with the little we got to see so far. This has a lot of potential to be a great continuation. So I can’t wait to see what happens next!
