My young female peach faced lovebird, Rosie, loves having her head scratched but she's very particularly about how the different areas of her feathers are stroked.
Awe, I love doing this with my bird! They're just so adorable. My bird gets sleepy very quickly, and then she starts yawning and closing her eyes, and she gets all fluffy. It's so cuuuuute!
yea mine too he always wants to sleep on my shoulders or on the palm of my hand cause its warm. he still is a young one so he prolly thinks its the same warmth his parents gave him preens my fingers, shirt, hair and even my earl
My lovebird doesn't like letting me touch him most of the time, (I have touched him before, he enjoyed it but he is moody) But he likes touching me and preening my hair 😂
@@gdgamingb0i44 o we had 3 actually but we sent them to someone else cuz they are rlly dirty and lazy and now we have only a Rosey faced lovebird and is very playful but he doesn't like ppl touching him and the other 2 birds bit him and left a scar on his beak and it was bleeding bad :C he is fine now tho :) but has a scar
you shouldn't force it, just let your bird make the rules for interaction; he may eventually warm up to you or it's just not a good fit. But be patient and gentle
Wow 😍 I do it to my budgies & one of my bird is so addicted to it☺ I loves love birds too, but I have so many budgies & I scare to get love birds because they're so much aggressive to other birds. I hope I'll get it in future 💖 How many birds do you have ? Is it OK to keep same sex love birds together in same cage ? Like 2 male birds together ?? Because it'll helps me in future years ☺
I've done my research, and they are very social birds, and it's easy to form a strong bond if you only have a single bird! But obviously, it takes a lot if patience to get to that level! :)
