Okay let me explain, first of all I'm 58 years old and was looking for a song by the band Sweet called Sweet FA (Fanny Adams) from back in the seventies and came across this. Love this song!

The version from The Sweet is the original & MUCH better. I do not understand when others take such a well know specific song title & place it to another song or even their bands name as another has & it lacks any integrity, justice or respect! Sorry, it is just not right!

The version ORIGINAL Sweet F. A. from The Sweet is a classic! & MUCH better! I do not understand when others take such a well know specific song title & place it to another song or even their bands name as another has. Their audacity is disrespectful, it lacks any integrity, justice or respect! Sorry, it is just not right!

i don’t think the original band cares very much, and peach pit (or any band) has full rights to name their songs anything they like. peach pit are also likely trying to pay tribute to the original band if it were actually based off of it. personally, i like this sweet fa better, but everyone is entitled to their own opinions about every song.

@@hotdog2130 You may think that & would be wrong. & Just because one may have the "right" to, doesn't mean one always should. So that also is wrong. Finally; We don't feel this is a tribute to Fanny at all Thus all is just wrong!

@@hmpz36911 just because you feel that the song "isn't a tribute" or "is wrong" doesn't mean it's actually wrong. The band is still allowed to make a song called Sweet F.A. If you don't like it, that's your personal opinion and you're entitled to it. But you don't need to get offended for The Sweet. If they decide they don't enjoy it and they disprove of the name, then you might be allowed to enforce their opinion. But you don't need to assume that The Sweet would immediately turn this song down.
