Here in my Village they usually lay in bushes on the ground away from habitations . After the chicks turn 1-2 weeks then they start coming to Village for food .

I have seen an escaped peacock living with wild turkeys

Around our farm the peacocks and turkeys were fighting for territory and then they seemed to get along. I began to wonder if we would see a co-mingling of the two. What would that look like? What would we call it? Peaturkey? Turcock? Peaurkey? Imagine a turkey with a massive set of tail feathers like a peacock. 🦚

That makes two of us. Not that I ever cared to look for before.
