Dude I love ya for getting Choji's struggles. He's just a kid, too long gone. Like what you said, it's hard to get to him. And I think that's why they used a visual of a drought where Choji is walking. No matter how much water you put on that heavily dried soil, it's not gonna absorb. It's gonna flood. Choji has been empty for too long that it's hard to get through to him. Damn Ume needs to be my therapist. 😆

the visuals and dialogue were on point in this episode! Togame isolated Choji from the group because he thought that would protect Choji's image that everyone knew from before, however, it was simultaneously hurting Choji, as the empty feeling he got from being the leader was perpetuated bc he did not have his friends by his side. As per your discussion, everyone played a part in this: Choji for bringing this dark energy, Togame for not fighting him, and the rest of the gang for accepting turning trash bc of the new dynamic
