It’s admirable the hard working and the three parts review, cheers!! Small suggestion, make part 4 about different ways of packing this bag because not all trips are the same, For example can I have the bag loaded with big camera cube and still have space in the canguro pocket for packing cube with 3-5 days worth of clothes?

Thank you! I really appreciate that. Great suggestion, I am happy to do that as well. Great idea. I hope to get to the mountains to shoot that angle soon. Thanks for the input!

Do you worry about the entire weight of the belt of basically on the zipper? I like these packs but I worry about the zippers blowing out and dropping all my camera gear.

That has honestly never crossed my mind. I have not had a zipper blow out on a backpack... yet. LOL. But I have ripped zippers off tents and other items. I can appreciate your apprehension with the camera gear. This is why I have not done a water bladder in the pack yet. Just to nervous to potentially get camera gear wet.

@Engearment thanks for the reply! I really wanted the pd 25L it seems like a good size as a day pack and with smedium cube. That one is 100% stressing the zipper. The 45L seems less of a problem because the straps at least attach to the bag and not the zipped section. But that one is just too big for my needs. The prices are definitely good on the kickstarter. Do you have any recommendations for something else around this price range? I like the shimoda but it's just too expensive.

@@CollectiveMindz Yes! This is the 20-30L pack I used the most over the last year. It is solid. And stands up on its own. Very burly materials. I fit a small or medium cube in there (barely) and all the goodies that I need to carry for a good day of shooting. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rtCVoGk3FmU.html

Thank you for the great info Sean. Would you suggest the PD Travel backpack or the PD Outdoor backpack for 2 weeks in Thailand? TIA

Hello! This is a great question. I literaly used the Travel 45L as my daily pack for a year. I LOVE that pack! 1) it carries everything I want for a few days 2) it works perfectly 3) it looks great 4) it is streamlined. The new Outdoor pack is really great for camera gear, hiking with a heavy load and is so adjustable. So, I suppose the question is - is is for carring camera gear on wild terrain, or carring a smaller camera set up and using it for EDC and travel. Outdoor 45L for the fist situation, Travel 45 L for the other. I need to do a video on this. LOL. Thanks for the nice note. Hope this ramble was somewhat helpful! Stoked for your big adventure!

How waterproof is the backpack (+rainfly)? And how does the combination of a waterbladder and camera gear fit?

Thanks a lot for the detailed videos, this is exactly what I was looking for! I wanted to ask if a liter of Nalgene will fit in the side pocket and if I can take it out and put it back in without taking the pack off. Second question, can rain splash into the kangaroo pocket even if it's tightened well? Thanks again and a fourth video about different ways of packing would definitely be appreciated. Mainly for onebag travel would be interesting.

Hello! Just got back from shooting the 4th video LOL. I took it hiking and showed how to pack it for shooting for a day trip. 1) yes, you can access a water bottle from the side pockets (use the smaller of the two options) It is a little tricky, but it can be done. 2) Yes, that is a very good idea, actually. The kangaroo pocket can be quite large if you want it to be. I have no trouble sticking a full-featured Gore-Tex jacket and my lunch in there :) That is a great idea for the next video. What would you like to see packed in it for one bag travel? I will see if I can make that happen. Take care! Sean

@@Engearment That's great! I've been thinking about travel essentials for a regular guy like me. I'll mention the Peak Design stuff directly, for a better idea of size. I was thinking of things like one medium packing cube, one small packing cube, one small wash pouch, and one small tech pouch (or other brands in similar size). Now I'd like to know how much room is left in the side pockets and kangaroo pocket when the pack is filled like this. Thanks again, cheers!
