Iv visited the Peak District drove around there. I stayed in Chesterfield and drove around Matlock, Bakewell, Castleton. Love it beautiful scenery and very pretty and calming. That road trip definitely helped me to reinforce the concept of "Think Bike" when driving especially when overtaking and turning as I saw lots of them around the Derbyshire Dales.
Yeah, great riding to be had in this country if you have the time to go find it! What with Melton Mowbray and Bakewell it's a pie and pudding heaven too!
Glad I said no more then!! Oops! I'm sure it's a lovely place, just the restaurant I visited was filled with scary people (it was a Harvester so serves me right I guess), and the food was horrible (see previous brackets).....
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT !!! And the bike is nice too. That music took me back a good few years - CHiPS !!! California Highway Patrol for the uninitiated-combatting crime from the seat of a Harley-Davidson ! Larry Wilcox and Erik Estrada come back to us !
Nice roads. Long, long time since I have been up that way, so I shall watch with interest. Plenty of good riding to be had in the peaks and dales. If you like puddings, by the way, it's probably too late to suggest you stop in at Bakewell. ;-)
Nice one Steve !. Just getting back into biking after a 40 year gap, at 58. I have a few now (lets not go there though :-) - procured over the last year. I love watching a normal cruise. I'm overseas most of the time, but my last "Cruise" was on my 1975 - first year - Goldwing from Ross to Newport in August when I was home, and received the bike. I was smiling for the entire trip. Cut me in half, and it will say Honda - not Blackpool. I'm with "OldFartUK" below. I'm a Northerner originally (and always), and followed his route on my Honda CB250N - a lifetime ago. It really is the BEST of areas to explore on a bike - spring, through summer. Subscribed Steve - so get out there and send me some normal rides out to enjoy in Cairo till I retire at the end of the year. Cheers mate
@@TheMissendenFlyer Sorry Andy. I could have sworn you said "Steve" at the end of the vid :-) I'll get my ears syringed. I've subscribed, and will be enjoying your channel as "Therapy" betwixt my own riding opportunities, and time stuck in the desert. Will also be watching your flying vids that you mentioned too - done a bit myself and have / had a glider pilots licence many years ago. Cheers Andy - AKA Steve ;-)
Andy. One of the "Don't ask" bikes I have is a 916SPS Foggy Replica. Wouldn't wish to give the number out in public, but below 40, of the 202 that were made.
Cheers Davie - glad you liked the video. The screen is an MRA Varioscreen - checkout my review here>> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AhzZWzVLNIw.html
Sorry Mark - I'm only a normal fella like you, I'm not an expert at this You Tube game....I'm going to go now and watch your videos and see how you do....
