The long awaited Warzone Mobile FPS Performance Comparison between the iPhone 16 Pro Max, ROG 8 Pro, and S24 Ultra is finally here ⬇️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tpcEMhmyBvk.htmlsi=8vgbq5ijHbNeoOdS
Its optimized, all of these games are as optimized as possible on flagships, its just that the SD 8 gen 3 just heats more than the A17, which provokes thermal throttling and worse performance, but believe me they’re doing as best as they can to optimize both system, NO company want their game to be unoptimized for flagships, the A17 is just superior unfortunately
xd no, maybe A17 pro more powerful maybe not but! android isn't optimized because android devices can update only 2 years. Google said we will update 7 years but when google this sentence saying Apple updating 6th year iphones XR 11 11pro\max
@@kero4381 "Android isn't optimized because Android devices update for only two years" That sentence is so wrong in every single way First of all, you can't just say "Android devices", there's Samsung, OnePlus, Google, Xiaomi, etc. All of these Android brands have different update policies and their flagships get more updates Compare only Samsung to Apple because Samsung is the most established Android brand Updates have no link to optimization Well, talk about now and Samsung's flagships and Google's devices update for 7 years now Previously, they updated for 4 years which isn't bad as an average person only uses their phone for 3 years"
@NFYT absolutely. Whenever I boot up warzone mobile I put my phone in the freezer, during those first minutes of gameplay, it's buttery smooth and I would say on par with the iphone. The performance unfortunately drastically reduces though as tike goes on.
Just uninstalled warzone mobile it doesn't look like it's ever going to be optimised for Android while iPhone uses 13 to 14 GPU usage the sumsung uses 100 percent GPU even though it has the most powerful GPU here.
@@tyni2973technically it doesn’t because of heating and thermal throttling which puts it in life support for like 30-1 hour or less and iOS has better optimization then android.
@@Matty-fd5nj Yeah Apple devices handle heat better I've noticed. I believe the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is actually slightly faster than the A17 Pro, but it heats so much it makes it worse.
The 30fps bug is super annoying, but i found a fix. Go into game boster setting labs and while the game is running turn off and on the alternate game performance management. This seems to fix it for me
can't wait for you to test the new update of WZ mobile on iPad Pro M4. I'm still using M1 version 12.9 and this will be the reason I decide whether to upgrade to M4. The M4 chip is really powerful but it seems like games still haven't optimized for it
@@Mel_win234i mean shit, I'd buy an iPad to play this game, considering on a PC warzone comes bundled with all the bullshit CoD has become, and mobile it's a 20gb game instead lol
I have a hunch that peak visual quality is slightly better on iOS, but I currently have no way of testing. I will reach out to square dream to get his thoughts on the subject matter.
man if the iphone 16 series finally gets a good cooling system it will truly be a beast of a gaming phone, while still limited by the app store, the potential gaming performamce mixed in with optimizations is amazing
@@ksv8654vậy tôi phải vác ps5 lên lớp để chơi sao ? hay giờ tôi chỉ cần 1 con điện thoại và 1 apple hay laptop thay thế con ps5 chết tiệt chỉ biết nằm 1 chỗ
There is too much difference in performance, lets see if an update makes it closer, a 30% more performance and still gpu is not maxed out is hard to believe
Can you test the new Wuthering waves update. It improves alot of performance on my iPhone. I wanna know how much of a difference it have compared to last benchmark.
Android games and maybe even in all benchmarks usually have lower rendering resolution so it can win in youtube comparison. Thanks you for mention the render resolution to uncover the truth.
Hey Dame How are you? A pleasure to greet! I'm thinking about buying the iPhone 15 PM or the S24U or the Honor M6P... After watching several of your videos (I'm a new subscriber), I was unsure which one to choose. What would you recommend? The use I'm going to give it is mostly games (I'm looking for 60FPS, without warming up), a bit of social networks and photos... the basics. Thank you so much!!!
The iPhone is the better choice apps works better on iOS and it’s more consistent but the s24 ultra is no slouch either still a great phone with lots of features, you can’t go wrong with either
Most people think because they have more powerful specs the game is going to run faster!!! They forget the optimization part when the iphone is the known king 😊
Specifications on Paper do not mean anything, when you start analyzing the internal Architecture of each one you see that Apple is 2 years ahead, it has a more robust computational CPU Pipeline, with more ALUs and decoders specialized in different tasks.
Well even in car industry is not necessary that car is the better what have a bigger number on the dashboard. Because benchmarks just usually tell you the last number of that dashboard, but not tell you anything about acceleration, fuel consumption, etc etc.. so benchmarks are good, but it's not decide everything. Even the car with 40km/h less top speed can be better like the faster car, so to decide it based on just their top speed is not a clever idea.
The game came out not to long ago and the guy says him self that the version on the s24 needs updates bc it's buggy 9:29 it's not a phone problem it's a game developer problem
About the GPU vs CPU usage on phones or anything in general. when you see a GPU now being fully in use, that doesnt mean that it is working less to achieve the same FPS, but that it is waiting for packages from the CPU to render. When it is waiting, you see a less % use on a GPU. That means that there is a bottleneck and that the CPU is slowing the phone down. When a GPU is on full blast 100% use and the CPU is at less than 100%, that means that the CPU is doing it;s job correctly and that the GPU is at full power (which is a good thing), when the FPS on the phones is not limited.
Now, in this case, the S24 performs worse, compared to thte iphone, but it is not the usage that tanks the FPS, it the slower GPU compared to the IPhone. The IPhone (And correct me if I am wrong) looks like it is limiting the FPS regardless of what option you have chosen.
thats noot the problem the gpu on s24 is more powerful yet it still uses more of it is just a optimazation issue this game will never be optimised for android as it seems
@gockartzz8272 but the same problem exists in Pubg Mobile or other games, because I also read an article that Samsung made an agreement with Pubg Mobile. I think the processor, RAM and CPU in the iPhone have too much work to do.
And they are not even the same generation. I mean if that S24U still called to Note 24 and release with the iPhone 16, who on the earth only compare it with the already one year old iPhone 15? This is when marketing just try to fool the customers, but the past decade is not erased...
The average consumer doesn't care about which one has the most powerful chipset I can still game and do my basic needs on my s24 ultra it's not that big of a deal lol
Why the S24U gives LESS fps than my S23+. It's not similar, even my S23 gives better results than the S24U you use to test. Is that or is the FPS Samsung's chart showing incorrect
It's not just you. My S23 Ultra is outperforming my S24 Ultra by a big margin. Here is my S23U results. S23U is close to iPhone 15 Pro Max performance. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-47WhkHUPsfM.htmlsi=ETm7_jhZlwMYaKdl
@DameTech I would say that the game is not yet optimized for the SD8Gen3 but then you see the other brands with the same chip and they give better results. I don't deny that the game is still in a terrible state and lacks work, but Samsung seems to be focused on sabotaging themselves in mediocrity by having the "fastest SoC in the world" which is a shame for people who bought the phone expecting the best results.
@@Nabucorf The S24 Ultra with the SD8G3 has a thermal throttling problem for GPU. It falls under the performance of the S23 Ultra under longer load. Even the better vapor chamber is not enough for the heat generated by the SOC. With proper internal cooling it would do better. The iPhone 12 Pro also had this problem this is why I skipped it and took the 13 Pro Max in the past. It is always important for gaming to look at the Stress Test values. I prefer to run the Stress Test (1x 20 min) 3 times in a row (3x 20 min) then you can see how bad the performance will be if you continue to game. Heat management is the key for this tiny devices. Samsung did a bad job in this generation. I hope the iPhone 16 Pro Max also get a better cooling maybe the one from the M4 iPad or better. Peak performance is great, but for gaming we all need sustained performance. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xOI0Bm4gjKA.htmlsi=WWulra69rein3b8d&t=690 ru-vid.comyeRCqRFb_iU?si=NWboW7BFpIJiGYsb

I have a feeling the high resolution of the s24 ultra is affected by the screen resolution set in its display settings (if it s was set to 1440p, the high would also change)
SD8Gen3 is indeed more powerful than the A17 pro, the problem is that the S24ultra has a slower performance compared to other phones with the same chip, this was something samsung has probably done fearing overheating, thing that all flagship phones in today days have (including the Iphone 15 pro, Xiaomi 14 pro, etc)

@@brenothehedgehog8432 no it’s not more powerful and never was! The Cpu in 17 pro is 30% more powerful in single core and 20% better in multi core…and the GPU has higher clock speeds! You’re free just to keep believing one benchmark only which is 3D mark 😂 name one game that runs better on android? None
For those of us who play Warzone Mobile we know that there are areas of the Rebirth map that work worse, if you are going to make a comparison it is best to do it in both conditions, in the same area of the map, in this video you made the S24 was in a very poorly optimized, where it is normal to have low FPS, on the iPhone you were in an area that was lighter and easier to process, which is why it had more FPS. The video was interesting, but next time I recommend doing the video on equal terms.
Apple sheep can't even begin to understand that WZM was heavily optimized for iOS devices. That doesn't make the A17 less powerful or even weak but the iGlazing in the comments is impressive knowing they don't have a clue to how their phone or the game works
According to 3DMark new benchmark, A17 Pro has slightly better GPU. But this is why I no longer trust or use benchmarks. During initial release 3Dmark showed SD8G3 to be superior, but all of a sudden with more optimization and metal 3.0 and Vulkan 1.1 support, A17 Pro now is surpassing standard SD8G3. Hence, for now just stick with real life gaming tests
As usual great Content keep up the good work but why is it that the game is still not optimised properly for s24 Ultra or Android in genral despite they telling it's optimised.plus y does the s24u have 900p as an option when in reality the s24u actually objectively have the better GPU I still don't understand
fr like in the synthetic benchmarks the s24u gpu performs better than the 15 pro max but in games like warzone mobile the s24u performs worse than the 15pm
@@adriano2659 that's my point the benchmark tells the true raw capabilities of ur cpu or GPU and no I don't want to get into an argument oh benchmarks doesn't matter real World matters . No benchmarks tells the true raw capabilities of a hardware and it's objectively true not subjective.and that's my biggest gripe despite objectively having a better GPU then the iphone it looses in this game
@@adriano2659sansung is doing that on purpose. Their game mode boosts performance in benchmark apps so it looks like the phone is extremely powerful. But it is lowering power in games to reduce heat 😀
Man... this what I hate about my S24 Ultra. The rest of the phone is so solid, but this thing gets way too hot and I drop so many frames on Genshin and it's absolutely boiling. Might have to give up and go for the iPhone 16 Pro Max in September :( I briefly had the iPhone 15 Pro Max too when it came out and gaming on it was so good.
I have the 15 pro max right now and tried out the s24 ultra back in January. I can definitely say the iPhone is the better phone. I don’t care about customization. Only reason I might upgrade to the 16s is if it gets a big battery life boost, which I think might happen with the cooling and higher battery size
AFTER SEEING THE COMPARISON BETWEEN SAMSUNG IN THIS REVIEW AND SEEING RED MAGIC REVIEWS ON OTHER CHANNELS I CAN SAY THAT RED MAGIC IS IN HEAVEN Iphone near the sky AND SAMSUNG IS ON EARTH
I've always said this Apple's chips are always more power than the competition I don't understand how RU-vidrs judge and sometimes say the sd8gen3 is more powerful where I can see the results and the A17 has higher numbers.
@@rossblace899 ohhh, 600p 30 fps is more better than no games. On android nobody cant (maybe not wanting) to port to smartphones. on a iPhone u can play Resident Evil 7, Village, 4 Remake. Assasin's Creed Mirage. Death Stranding. I think its good but iphones overheating compared by ipads
On Samsung phones the game is buggy. Uncapped fps is not working correctly after this update. And other settings are not working as it should be. The game is completly broken with this update on Samsung phones.... Please retest it after the fix bro! 😊 before the update i got 120 100 fps on S23 and S24. Now i have 30 40. Its gonna take a lot of time for this game to be optimized for android devices. The S24 ultra is an equally capable device but even if you use the ROG whilst being cooled, it still wont help and wont change the fact that this game is highly optimized for IOS.
Lol 😂 no it's 992p. Where are you getting 1440p? Dame even showed the in-game resolution 0:41. You do know in-game resolution is different than display resolution. Just like how I have a 4k TV but often watch 1080p or 2k shows. 😅 @@Nfs-HP-Enjoyer
@@Nfs-HP-Enjoyer so you don't understand then what I just said? Now if your just talking about display quality and resolution, then yes S24U has a much better display over the iPhone. But honestly I don't think gamers care about display as much as fps and in-game graphics which iPhone wins here.
@whiteangel_15 the meat riding on Apple is absolutely crazy, Android just does it better and it's not even close.. iPhones can't even have good performance while any Flagship Android destroys it 😂
@@amoorxd5432 put a fan behind the iphone and you'll see it'll perform better than the ROG any day of the week, in fact, with the extra money you spend on the ROG, you get a fan, and get an ACTUAL gaming phone with CONSOLE titles and a great standalone device (ROG is not as good as iphone for daily driver, its just not lmao) iphone has most games at a higher resolution anyways, so even if it performed worse it'd be at higher graphics, like happens with genshin and this warzone
As an android user, no, the problem is not the optimization, the problem is that compared to other Snapdragon 8gen 3 phones, the S24 ultra has reduced performance (probably so people wont blame them for overheating, which is a problem samsung has)

As a S24U user, my respect to the iPhone. I do believe the S24 is very capable, but optimization plays a big part here. hopefully Samsung feels encouraged to work better with optimization through updates. great Vid
Shut up. Android and iOS are now both optimised equally. Thats the reason he again re tested the game. Also COD warzone was unoptimised for both android and iOS and yet iPhone ran the game at stable 60 FPS and higher resolution
Hmmm weird benchmark. Try and stay in the same area next time. You never went to the grassy area on the iphone and you spent a good portion of the end inside too. Was that deliberate? And at 8:10 look at the iphones fps. Dropped to 50. If you had went where the s24 ultra your numbers would have been different.
The game has random zones. I try to drop in the middle of the zone where there are the most enemies. Every game will be different. Some games the zone will be centered around certain parts of map.
@DameTech it's crucial when you're comparing hardware to test at the most similar place possible (exact place is best). Even if you get a random drop. Head to the same place on foot! Without a doubt the iphone is the phone to get if you wanna play warzone
just top comparing this game it seems that the devs dont care about android they keep inscresing ther res without actually optimising the game.just move on to wuthering waves test iphone vs android or something
More evidence that I'm switching to iphone next from my galaxy s24+. Devs: okay well pick the top 100 best android phones, but only the last 3 apple device lineups for optimization.
EVERYONE needs to understand that the majority of the world 🌎 uses Android, and yet most developers always choose and PREFER to optimize for iOS… this has happened in the past and in the present… and very likely, the FUTURE. They will always follow this pattern 😂
what the heck did they do to android again? My game used to run above 80fps on my S24U and now even with low res and very low graphics it doesnt go above 70 and sometimes feels like its capped at 60. Dropping from plane its locked at 30fps with tons of delay.
Bro please don't compare Samsung devices for gaming. Samsung just does not focus on gaming (even if they say so). Other Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 devices lile ROG 8, Redmagic 9, iQOO 12, Xiaomi 14 Pro/Ultra perform better than Samsung in gaming. And WZM is much more optimised for iOS than Android, it is the only reason why Android still can't achieve its max potential. Another example of poor optimisation is CODM. Only iOS devices support Max graphics whereas Android devices support upto Very High in CODM. And both the games are from Activision. So, the optimisation part is on the developer's end. Sure, iOS is easier to optimise than Android. But that doesn't mean Android is bad.
