"I have a girlfriend" "Are you lying :))" Girl, if a guy said that to me, it would piss me off and I know damn well it would piss off most girls too, respect the clear boundary the other person is trying to set and back off omg
I think it's the sense of entitlement most of these people have, she can't believe that guys would turn down a pretty girl. When in fact it wasn't so much what she asked them, it was where she did it. Swedes hate small talk and you certainly won't get anywhere approaching a stranger on the street and invading their personal space.
Yeah Right!? why she creeping!? If a guy or a girl Said that to me I would make it clear, ‘Doesn’t matter if you believe me or not you need to back off.’
@@helvete983 Not really sure if people all hate it or if they're just suspicious that someone is pulling a prank, doing a social experiment or just played a "truth or dare" with friends. I mean, that's what I would think when people would approach me with lines like this.
As a Swedish person, the thing we hate the most is when people just come up and talk to us, specially if we don't want to. Keep up the good work George.
Certainly not the way to make friends with the Swedish, but when you do they’ll teach you important things to say, like “löt bli min fittja”, a good thing to know in those situations.
As a swedish person i just wanna say that, swedish people in general act like introverts. No one talks to each other in public, people choose to stand up on busses rather than sit next to a stranger.
I'm norwegian and i am always so confused when people are proud of that part of our culture. It's literally the worst part about it. I hate it. People from the rest pf the world always seem much nicer.
@@ivanpopov2727yeah I kinda agree, although often it is kinda blown out of proportion. Like everyone says that we are really introverted when we just like being alone and unbothered. I feel like in America it’s very common for people to be quite interruptive and annoying whereas we by comparison seem extremely introverted.
There's a kid in my class who says "You're all just NPC's, you see that teacher, SHE thinks that SHE has power over ME and IM trying to break free of that typical matrix" oh my god i have not wanted to move classes harder in my life
tbf she seemed quite nice in the later video. it was cringe but at least she seemed to know, i can't hate her for trying that tbf it is a very big clash with swedish introvert culture though hahaha
@@ivanpopov2727 She's probably the least bad pickup artist that I've ever seen imo. It's just the concept of pickup artistry is cringe in general to many lol
The first woman is a massive troll. She’s very famous. But it was hard for me to tell at first bc she isn’t that obvious with her satire 😭. Also the blonde cat walking woman is famous too and she’s also quite satirical with her humour.
As someone with Sensory processing disorder, sound proof headphones don't actually do much. I should know, I have to wear them to cope. I made the switch to actual headphones because playing music is more effective
The clip at 7:10 showing the waiter slamming a cake in the girl's face is actually real and happened at restaurant Guramma Italiana in Kiev 2018. However, it was not just that one waiter doing it; the rest of the video shows how the other waiter gets another cake and slams it in the second girl's face. 😁 There are several articles on it, one in the Mirror titled "Fed-up waiters slam cake into rude diners' faces - and their bosses refuse to punish them". As the title say, the waiters were not punished, as the girls were very rude.
@@DisKneePus-lp9emI believe the anglicized version of the name is Kiev. It's similar to Wien being called Vienna. It's just an adaptation to suit the rules of another language.
words can't express how much I love the guy who keeps stitching and shaming people making fun of others at the gym. I found him just before I started going to the gym for the first time and his videos helped relieve my workout anxiety so much. I can't wrap my head around how people can go to the building literally designed for self improvement just to tear others down
Well the one walking in Italy is called Britney Manson. She made her career through these Tiktoks and walked a fashion show for Valentino thanks to that, cause it was her dream she fullfilled. So I think this is more of a wholesome main character.
@@yvonnesanders4308 Did I ask mr ogre? Would you call HER a he in public? You would make a fool out of yourself, but keep on being jealous of HER success
As an introvert with clinically diagnosed social anxiety disorder, I can't even imagine doing stuff like this in public. I can barely look a cashier in the eye at a checkout register, so the mere thought of dancing in a crowded mall and going up to strangers to ask them if I'm attractive fills me with dread.
I got told off for ruining a selfie. They were stood in the middle of the road (on the rainbow zebra crossings in Camden) and I wasn’t the only person crossing the road.
@@helvete983 I like taking photos, I wait for people to pass if I’m in a busy area. I have asked for people to not come through my shot but that’s when it would be a whole 30s they’d lose.
@@katashworth41 I don't have an issue with respectful people, it's the ones who feel like they own the damn place and get pissed off because other people have places to be and won't halt their lives so they can get a few extra clicks from thirsty guys. You know the type.
lol the cart lady getting rolled away and asking how America is like this is just like a fucking villain in the Arkham games getting walked away in handcuffs, quickly quipping before they get put away
*for the woman trying to exchange numbers with Swedish men: Generally you don't just randomly get close to strangers like that there - it's not a part of Scandinavian culture, unless you're using an app or a website for hooking up/dating. Or you know, out and drinking at a club. It would be very rare and unusual to approach someone you don't know to start a relationship or a fling - especially without any kind of context or talk leading up to the ask. Getting a sweetheart or a boyfriend usually happens through shared friendships/activities, where you learn about and grow closer to each other. The culture may seem cold to outsiders, but it's a different mindset of having a right to be going about your business uninterrupted - and not bothering other people, specifically. When you're approaching a stranger like this, you're also basically telling them that you're drawn in by their appearance, not because of anything you have in common or because you like their personality. It's much too harsh and direct, and may make the man believe it to be a red flag, to be approached like this. (Fellow Scandinavian here.)
Brit Manson is amazing. She did that because people were being transphobic and disgusting towards her. She’s on RU-vid also (I don’t venture down the hole of tik tok). She’s amazing and recreates famous models’ catwalks. She’s not got main character syndrome, she’s just unashamedly herself.
@@love_lane right? Brit is a girl. And she’s beautiful. I absolutely despite transphobia arseholes like this. Thank you for commenting and sticking up for her 🥰
These are the people in school that try to be the centre of attention by “standing up” to the teacher, and still get in trouble and everyone calls them a nonce
The two girls with the cake, the story was they ordered it just to take a picture of it, and they got angry when they were told they had to pay for it. And they argued and argued that they were not going to pay for it, so the guy smashed in their face.
It very much depends on the gym. I go to 2 different gyms. In one of them (health club type place) phones and cameras are flat out banned because they want it to be a welcoming atmosphere. In the other one (more hardcore gym) people are constantly recording stuff, and it's fairly common for someone to pass me their phone and ask me to record a set for them.
britney manson is actually a model, she's great! she also made the song "fashion" which ended up going quite viral on tiktok. i love her work, she's gorgeous.
I did regonize Britney Manson here 14:26, lot gonna lie she isn't that bad. She actually made me gained a lot of confidence in myself since a normal person like her have the confidence to cat walk like she is on stage on the street, and her song "Fashion" is really fire edit: Wow people down there are starting a whole war
11:43 This person makes mostly satire content, so she absolutely knows that she will probably be embarrassed, so I don't think that was a great example of "main character syndrome."
The blonde catwalking woman is pretty satirical and she even invites some random ppl to catwalk with her. Those ppl filming her are all surrounding her with their phones out and looking at her, I thought it was quite obvious that this was organized, I find it weird that you thought otherwise.
Interestingly the "Influencer meltdown at the gym" video is fake, I know cus I've met the guy in it, he's an actor and I've had it confirmed by a mutual friend.
@@Okiny-q8b Totally makes sense to feel that way but tbh I don't know that it's all that easy to tell unless you have a smoking gun like I did, what I took away from it was baso "damn, if this one is fake how many of the others are", that part kinda freaked me out.
If it’s satire then it’s just poorly plagiarised satire. Ricky Gervais’ Life’s Too Short Episode 7, and it’s actually funny when it’s written by Ricky & acted by Warwick Davies
Just a quick note to say that guy in the airport at 7:30 is one of the hosts of Hard Fork, a podcast from the New York Times. He had to podcast from the airport because the news had just broken that Sam Altman had been fired from OpenAI.
They really need to add a couple of closed off seats for these people. "It won't cry the whole time" - yeah sure, only 99% of the time. Babies are hellish creatures
I had to do video questions where I had to film my self for an interview and I felt so embarrassed even though one person was watching them so idk how these people do it
12:57 Im studying sociology and our profesor said that the reason these like super famous poeple can get away with sometimes dressing as a fkin homeless poeple (and maybe people will even admire them for it for whatever reason) because everybody knows their status already. They dont have to act “high class” because everybody knows they are “high class” … so poeple who post stuff like this (or scream “dont you know who i am”) are not the “high class” they would like to be because otherwise everybody would already know and there would be no reason to post this….. in other words: these people are trying to be something they arent but are certain they are
One time really really recently some random people came into a store that was kinda full but small they kept talking so loud about what other people were doing/saying it finally got to the point someone said "yeah i just come here to listen to you" the people left in embarrassment (rightfully so) and the other ones just ignored it. It was hilarious.
I don't think I've ever seen someone in the gym or on the street that I've been like 👀 to. They're literally just another person and if you're swooning over that you gotta chill out a little.
I used to get that feeling when I was in the military thinking I was superman, until a round went through me, got humbled when I woke up in the hospital
15:00 at least she can actually dance though, I'll give her that. So many of these dance creators just can't dance, their timing and coordination need a lot of work. She's killing it.
Can we all just take a moment to process the guy at 13:56 pounded his chest and said it’s all going the the bicep, brother, that’s you’re pectoralis major, not your bicep, I hate ppl like him
Dude, one of my friends who works out has to film his sessions for his doctor because he was in a severe accident when he was younger and for his trainer who's currently overseas. This girl once came over and was like "ArE yOu FiLmInG uS?" And he was like "oohh no, my trainer is overseas rn" One of them literally had the audacity to say "sorta wish you were filming us"
I have to agree with George. In this case for the cycle one, there is no cycle lane, they kind of have to go in the road. And tbf it seems the cars are overtaking on solid lines
The cars definitely still in the wrong for the solid line, but i swear it looks like there’s a cycle lane on the right (you can see other cyclists on it in the background) and it clearly continues, I’m just really confused lmao
