I love this video!!! My spirit snake was that Racer. It usually doesn't like to be messed with like myself, but this one seemed to enjoy a quick visit from a pal in the off hours as I do. Hell yeah I'll join you at a Denny's for a Moons over My Hammy, but if the visit gets too long, Imma be hissy and pissy. Racer today was definitely on the show for the meet and greet for the perfect amount of time. R.I.P. Green Rough Snake, my favorite snake is Green Smooth snake of Michigan. I enjoyed seeing how excited the worm snakes were and I don't blame them, March Madness is Wild again

Opened the front door last night to an 18" brownish colored snake. Very thin, very shiny, I live outside of Charlotte, NC. We have copperheads and garter snakes but this is the first time I've seen anything else.

Seem to be a species of digger bee, (100's of species) which can be very common, and form colonies (one bee per hole) in sandy, often impoverished, well-drained soil - quite innocuous and rarely sting, and the sting is not severe...always enjoy the vids!

When I tell you I came running to the comments - I knew somebody would know what kind of bee that was! Thank you!!

Spring came and all the small snake species came out. Nice corn snake, diamondback, mole skink, musk turtle and whiptail. I didn’t know that racers rattle as well. No microhylids though.

Best field herping channel ever. You killed again as always. I can't believe ruberzilla returned. Thanks as always for the dope content. I appreciate all the work you put into these videos. You're a legend. Catch you on the flip-side pimp. Richard from Arkansas

I’ve decided that years ago people didn’t know what the color “red” was. Red Salamanders, Red Bud trees, Red Onions are all PURPLE!!

That one racer was attacking you. You are lucky, they can't swallow you whole but they can swallow parts of you and then you have to enter into negotiations. I had a friend who was a pinhead for instance.

“Amphibians and Reptiles of Georgia” published by UGA press is my favorite reference when it comes to herps. The desmog taxonomy is a bit outdated, but then again that’s true of virtually any field guide right now

My husband and I love watching your videos! I’ve also recently introduced them to my grade 1-3 science class! We have been learning about herps and have put out our own boards to see what we might find. One thing I wanted to mention, if the videos have any “adult” words (even “sucks”) in them I can’t show them to the kids, even if they are bleeped out. Not that you normally do, but I wanted to put that out there! Thank you for all you do! (Crikey and blimey? 😁)
