Yea but it helps spread money more evenly and people commute to bigger cities. Also improves infrastructure and makes it easier to travel around the uk, also increasing tourism money.

Total ignorance on display yet again Peter. The WCML is full to capacity. So they are moving the express trains on to HS2. That will free up many more paths for freight and more trains on the suburban routes. And do please explain if your appointments are such that you need to catch the first train how do you get a 'earlier' one Peter? You people are a waste of effing oxygen ....
