The difference between Cillian Murphy and Tommy Shelby is truly stunning. Cillian is quiet, shy, erudite, non-violent, and compassionate. In contrast, Tommy is a dynamic, charismatic, compelling leader. He is made of steel, albeit damaged steel. Violent, lonely, but loyal. The actor and the character stand differently, walk differently, stare differently. Cillian is simply amazing.
I am a self professed cinemaphile, a hard marker,. This series is outstanding. in every aspect. I watch and rewatch, and I always see something new. I hope that this series gets the recognition it so admirably deserves. I find my American self choosing more and more the Anglophile/Irish selections . This rates right up there with Wolf Hall. Thank you, Netflix, for making this available to us. The moe PB, the better. Bravo!!

2024 April and I've only just found peaky blinders it's only taken me 10 years to find one of the best series I've ever watched and I binged watched it in 3 weeks now I finished all the seasons i really wished there was more peaky blinders seasons to watch. It was absolutely brilliant I wasn't even familiar with most of the actors but I think they're all brilliant now that I know of them. I am sad to learn polly passed in real life RIP Helen McCrory thank you for your performance ❤
Wow Annabelle Wallis....... Every time she speaks it's like you can see her brain trying to find the words for what she understands or sees in her head. She sees the beauty in the tiniest details and her responses show she is so invested in this role and her work - particularly 13:20 - 14:45.

Annabelle Wallis was the only downer for me with her atrocious Irish accent. Her acting is not up to scratch and to be honest, I found the storyline around her not up to par.
