@@mr.sterling2071 But the main thing that was suffering was Tommy's family life. He was doing well enough as a politician to get approached by Mosely, Churchill and that high judge. He knew wall street was gonna crash and instructed Michael to sell their stakes there. If Michael had done what he was told, the business wouldn't have crashed as bad if at all. His work was his escapism from the war trauma. So he was very good at his work.
@@playea123 there’s the war trauma and also I think he started to get rlly bad after grace died. Then John also died. he carries a lot of guilt and he’s having trouble dealing with it, which has led him to have suicidal thoughts that are mentioned in season 5
Ikr. Like he's so ahead of Tommy. 😂🤣 someone needs to remind him that he was the one who lost all their money when Tommy already told him to sell their stocks before the market crashed. 🤦🏼♀️
My god, these scenes are fantastic. I love this show so much. Thanks for putting them up, no way to see deleted scenes in the states, you are a hero, my friend.
It's sad to see aberama and polly together in that part he's telling polly all his plan, but even before he build the mansion and even before they got a wedding he already gone T T
Especially the scene between Polly, Michael and Gina shed´s a different light on the season 6 finale and I can´t help wondering how different would this season be if it wasn´t for the death of beloved Helen McCrory
So far they've been fighting enemies from outside: Campbell, Russians, Changrettas, etc. The last enemy will come from within, the war which will rage inside the Shelby family will be the last war to be fought.
I would wager Tommy doesn't get killed but as the last two Seasons has gone on Tommy's cough has become more pronounced I think he'll die of lung cancer or something like that.
ye probably why they removed it, I mean lets be honest. Thomas will come out as the winner, but since this isnt canon anymore Im not sure if michael will die.
@@Heisenberg882 do you honestly truly believe that the writer would let the main character and one of the most famous characters(no anyone, THOMAS SHELBY) of any show just lose against his cousin? And honestly tommy is known for being badass and shit the writer isnt going to let him just lose in his own show.
@@Heisenberg882 I mean I get what you’re saying, so like he would win the “war” but it still wouldn’t really be a win since it wasnt worth it? But walter white won, he didnt lose.
i think michael being the rat is just way too obvious to be true. also michael has shown that he still deeply cares for his mother, so i don’t think he would have had anything to do with aberama’s death
He actually never loved or cared polly...money and power was only thing he wanted....he left her adoptive parents who loved him very much, all of a sudden, just after knowing how rich and powerful shelbys are...and then after sometime his desire for more power made him to try an takeover.... polly's death was just an excuse for Michael to kill tommy... however he always wanted to do it with or without polly's death...
It was a terrible mix of a NY accent and a Boston accent. I was born and raised in NYC and spent 4 years living in Boston for grad school. I know both accents very well. She didn't do either of them justice.
@Ben Magnez he's power hungry like Micheal , its inevitable I'd say , ever since Tommy let him take a mans eyes he's been floating on a cloud of self proclaimed powerfulness .
@@rcticfloof Im pretty sure it was Michael's Wife, probably she is one of the cousins of Mosley, the one that made Lizzie surprised, but the scene didn't showed her face.
@@rcticfloof yeah but i feel like thats abit too on the nose i feel like they'd want us to think it was the football guy so that when they reveal who it actually was it'd be a plot twist ...personally i think it was Lizzy , there was look she gave mosley when when she walked out the door , it was a second or 2 but i definitely saw something in the way she looked at him
@@cayden2744 no idk if it can be Gina cause tommy made sure that all the changrettas were either dead or working for Al Capone so i dont think tommy would miss that , i think it was lizzy , there was a look she gave him idk
Why are there so little people who think billy is the one who betrayed Tommy in the end. Finn told him what was gonna happen and as soon as that happened the camera switched to Billy and the phone.
So, now we know who's gonna die ... When polly told Tommy "one of you gonna die, but I am not sure, which one" ... And I still think polly will choose Tommy over Michael because she's very possessive for Tommy, it hurts her when Tommy moves away from her ... As we have seen even in first season, Grace while confronting Polly said that "she's afraid to loose Tommy to her"
Well yeah, but that was in first season, before she knew that Michael exists. She and Tommy grew apart in later seasons, while she and Michael grew closer and she was very protective of him... But I really hope you're right and I will forever believe that she would choose Tommy (even tho now that Polly is no more, we won't have a chance to see it :()
@hunter Well to me it seemed that she didn't know how he is, or where he is. Ofc she knew she has a child (she thought she has two children) and she also thought that he is happy with his life and wouldn't want to meet his real mother Polly. But then he wanted to leave with her and Tommy. And from that moment forward Polly and Tommy grew apart. Because of her love for Michael.
The fact that Michael wants to double cross the guy who made him who he is right now makes me crazy. If it wasn't for tommy he would still be rotting in that village with his adoptive family 😒
I’m calling it now!!! The survivors of the series (only main characters) - Arthur - Finn - Ada - Michael - Johnny Dogs - Isaiah - Curly - Lizzie - Mosley
No I don't think so as it was originally planned that Polly be alive in season 6, but Helens death made them change the script so most of the story would've already been written. Also I think unless polly is killed by Ginas family or something her death will just cause a bigger rift between him and Tom as Polly was probably the only one who could stop them from killing each other before.
According to SK, S6 will be a "tragedy". I think Tommy will die and we're all gonna cry. I hate that thought it's giving me mad level of anxiety. Poor Tommy!
I used to like him when he was just a cute lil kid lmao i was actually excited when they first showed him all grown up, but then he went from cute to "ehh" :3
Am I the only one who thinks Gina is bat shit crazy and will probably get Michael killed , there is something off about the character I can’t quiet pin it down
@@SAM_SARA_BEATS to be honest i forget , but i remember that it was confusing and alot of things didn't make any sense . Thats normal with tv shows , all of them get worse when the writer is rushed by a deadline .
@@ibnsaeed1 I get where you're coming from. I honestly think this season was a lot less convoluted and slow than the third season which I believe was the one of the slowest burns.
@YoungBlood a lot of things could have been cut and a some added The Arthur Linda drama was boring The billy boys storyline was good but short Resurrection of a character like Alfie was a bit too late
im so pissed that aberama died, his love for polly was so pure and genuine, everytime he was with polly he always made her smile. Their relationship was one of the purest on the show and I hate that we'll never get to see their wedding and I hate that aberama never got to avenge his son. I think it would be cool if Polly would be the one that eventually avenges his and bonnies death.
One way to find out if Steven Knight looks @ comments is to see his response to viewers & what they’d like to see, oh and enough of Grace please, she kinda had to die I do agree with him on that. I agree w/u about Aberama. Maybe the mysterious woman that gives Tommy a run for his money supposedly in S6 is Esmeralda, Aberama’s eldest & prettiest daughter according to Tommy, she has plenty to be pissed about. Tommy used her as leverage in a coin toss to have his way with her, indecent proposal no 1. Also her brother & her father died when they joined forces with the Shelbys, 3 strikes YOURE out Tommy, this is my theory & in theory only. Knight says he’s Introducing a new character that will give Tommy a run fo4 his money; however she could be the new character thats been mentioned yet never seen. This is my theory but I’m gonna get this on paper & signed just in case & that it was speculation hypothetically speaking imho!
I'm pissed too, and yes, their relationship was the purest. Because of her he started to feel better after the death of his son and you could see she was truly happy with him too 🥺😔
@@pheanith9297 basically Charlie was the Shelby's father figure so the Shelby's saw him as an uncle like family so he gotta be kind of a father figure to Finn. To help him understand no to make stupid decisions
Lmao. I love him 😂😂😂 Fin needs to go sit his Mickie Mouse ass down what does he think he is about to do? Talk em to death? 😅😅😅 Yep, Uncle Charlie will save the day.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I assume that Polly looked after Tommy and his brothers because their mother died when they were young and their father was a useless drunk. And since Michael was taken away when he was young that means Polly probably has more of a connection to Tommy and his brothers than she does to Michael.
@@chrisdawson1776 winston? Wtf he is against facisism and against oswald mosley how is he the traitor are u fuckibg insane he didnt even know that tommy was gonna assassinate oswald
whys nobody talking about the fact that the singer who was Finn's friend is the one who ratted? He picked up the phone when Finn mentioned somebody was gonna die
No he didnt. Finn just said that some nazi is gonna be killed and thats all. But they knew where to find sniper Barney, they knew Aberama was going to kill McCavern, they just knew everything. Tommy discussed all of this in Garrisons right after Michael was expelled. So first option is, that someone from this meeting ratted, or second, and thats more likely in my opinion, someone was listening - during that meeting there was some really strange camera angles, just like somebody else is in the next room. And also Tommy found there unfinished Pollys cigarette. So after Tommy and the others went out to calm down Barney, Polly probably had some other discussion with Michael and Gina and maybe all three of em are traitors. Also the man who shooted Barney was lefthanded, It could be Michael.
Why on earth did they cut these scenes, they were great, it let you in again to the family dynamics & more. Here’s what bothers me a lot & why as much as I’m excited about S6 I’m dreading it too. I’m tired of politics literally in reality so the last thing I wanna see is it on screen even fictionalized. Idk what decision it was to delete these scenes, Knight’s or Byrne’s. I know we as viewers are not part of the production but as viewers we have noticed things not as stellar as earlier seasons ( changed directors too) however, the show is still brilliant . The deleted scenes could be because of time restraints or because they would throw a lot of confusion onto their tv audience or have to change the entire storyline. What worries me with Steven Knight is he is slightly star glazed or struck when it comes to American actors & Peaky’s been noticed because Hollywood royalty in the acting and music industry now wanna piece of it. I also believe a lot of the storyline is heading the “ American way” to accommodate them, they maybe A list actors in the US but to me they’re 2nd rate next to the cast of the series . The show’s cast may not make the $$$$ the Pitts & the Clooney’s, but they enjoy acting & give it their all not their celebrity status! Also what they did w/ the budget they were on is incredible from cinematography, directors & actors. I hope the storyline isn’t going in this direction just so they can be in the show, unlike CM, TH and JC & many other British & Irish actors is they cannot adapt to an English accent, like Murphy, Hardy & Cole, few can in the US. It’s Meryl Streep & that’s basically it, put it this way you can count on one hand who can or passable. Her acting is quite wooden but her adaption at foreign accents is incredible!
No the 1800s is correct. You could meet papa Shelby and talk him into being a better father and being there for his kids. Series turns into downton abby lol
@@mauro5831 What do you think Is gonna happen then? It kinda makes sense, only he knew where Adorama/ don’t know if I spelt that right/ and Bonnie were camped out at. Also he was pleading to tom that he wasn’t the black cat and Tom just was like yeah sure. That’s a good way to throw the viewer off. Plus both Arthur Adorama and Barney were targeted during the attempted assassination of Mosley yet Johnny wasn’t.
@@user-sj4hs8fu5v Next time pay more attention to character development… Season 1 Johnny Dogs could have betrayed Thomas. But not anymore… Bro are you even watching Peaky Blinders? Johnny has been loyal to Thomas in every way possible. Like Tommy said ‘I know Johnny, out of all the people, you are the only one i can trust’
I hope they include that Polly scene with Micheal and the water early next season. Especially if Helen didn’t get the chance to film anything before her passing. It would be a beautiful send off to her character and one that makes enough sense.
The prohecy thing i get, and it made me sure that if polly survived season 6 she would be on tommy's side or neutral at best. But the other ones i don't understand why they were cut
