If you get deported its gonna be a shock to be back in Jamaica: a deported man is gonna be mentally scarred up from (failing at a) rough ass foreign life, and from being back in hard ass Jamaica with no real contacts or friends, he sounds foreign which means he’s getting scammed left and right, its a rough situation, so they keep quiet.
