I also go to a Chinese supermarket which sells alot of Korean items due to watching rose X I now have red pepper flakes n soya bean paste n whatever red pepper paste is called n I tell u summat it changes ur life food wise lol X As long as I have those things around I'm never bored lol x

I was watching this while cooking and realized I had all/similar ingredients and decided to make it! I used cashew butter and regular soy sauce. After making the soba, I used the same water to boil some frozen edamame beans. SO GOOD! 😋🤤
Yeah but sometimes fridge is empty of veggies so nothing wrong w going to store...I'm fortunate I live within a block of a Hispanic specialty store w fresh produce😃
I made this last night. It was so good! I had Soba noodles left over and was going to make something different with them tonight. But, I liked last night's dinner so much that I made it again!!
Was sat at home getting increasingly hungrier and struggling to think of what to cook for dinner when this video popped up. Fortunately I had all the ingredients (just had to swap out the Soba for some spinach Ramen noodles) whipped it up in 10 minutes just like you said and BAM, absolutely delicious. Society doesn't really understand it as a whole, and tends to laugh it off as a quirk, instead of a legitimate problem. But scientists are finally starting to study it, probably thanks to the age of the internet and sharing everything/ the community mindedness of it all. Thanks for the reply!

Not a vegan, but was looking for some recipes that incorporate soba noodles, which I plan to purchase and try(never had them before but I love buckwheat). Your peanut dressing is what sold me. That salad looks fantastic as is, but as I mentioned, I'm not a vegan so I'll spare you my thoughts on a few additional ingredients, lol. Thank you for your wonderful recipe.
Just made this. Had to use udon noodles because the Save-On (yay BC!) near me doesn't carry buckwheat noodles. Forgot to get carrots so I used baby bok choy and some mushrooms (which I had on hand) just lightly sauteed with some garlic powder and edamame. Made the sauce as shown. It's... amazeballs. Very versatile recipe and QUICK which is what I like. Recently swapped to a vegetarian lifestyle (not vegan; personal reasons) and your channel has been a godsend because a lot of the products you use (except the soba noodles APPARENTLY >:( , kidding, I'm sure it's just Save-On being dorks) can be found in Canada and I usually know where you get them from (Superstore, hello!). Thank you, thank you, thank you!

So this is almond soba noodles since almond butter was used . But if we wanted to give it a peanut 🥜 flavor , we would use peanut butter ~~ do u suggest plain peanut butter with no added sugars , salts and thickening agents ???? I'm a huge fan of peanut butter , esp. the peanut lime vinaigrette dressing from trader Joe's .

if you really wanna get all of the sauce out of the bowl I'd recommend you to put a little bit of noodle into the sauce bowl and turn them until they've soaked up all the sauce and the bowl is clean :)
I made this for dinner with tofu, broccoli and mushrooms cuz thats what I had on hand and it was so fucking good! Oh and I added that Korean red pepper paste you talk about for some spice!

I love savory breakfast foods, & cold noodles are fantastic year round. Yay! Thank you for all the meal & general vegan inspiration! (My kitchen mojo took a hit last month & I’ve been less-than-motivated to try anything new-it’s time to add this recipe to my many favorites). (I’m 45 years old & have been at nearly every point on the spectrum, from omnivorous humane society volunteer to “simple-skillet/InstantPot-activist” since I was in high school. Yeah...That’s “way back when,” pre-RU-vid...pre-mainstream internet (??!! Lol) so it wasn’t always this simple. Now there’s just no excuse-the info is ubiquitous & the evidence is not only irrefutable, but happily, it’s impossible to ignore. I’ve been scouring my city for soba noodles w no luck. I love them & used to eat them all the time. Hmm, maybe it’s time for a Thrive Market subscription? Idk, but now? Now I’m so motivated & committed to remaining vegan & your RU-vid presence, among a few others, has had an indelible impression & impact on not just my kitchen, but my health. (I’m struggling w “post-athlete” obesity & high cholesterol, but since recommitting to veganism, I’ve so far lost 16 pounds (& counting), as well as experienced just an overall sense of personal purpose, liberation & community that I really haven’t felt since the (day’s of yore “pre-internet” early 1990s...those early mornings when we arrived at the boathouse for rowing-crew practice & were instantly overwhelmed by the horrific stench of the rendering plant located not so far from the river where we had workouts? That stench planted the seed of #govegan in me. It was a crash-course in speciesism, “what really happens inside those places,” & “oh, THIS is why I cannot even consider eating this or that” again...ever. Oreos weren’t vegan-friendly back then, so we junked out on Hydrox cookies-we said, “just envision eating that smell from the rendering plant...oh, & you love horses? Well, the rendering plant “deals with” them, as well-all that “creamy filling” in that packaged junk food is basically made from hooves...everyone’s hooves.” Maybe not totally accurate, but definitely enough of a deterrent. 🤢 Ok, enough of the words from me... it’s kitchen time! Your 5 minute receipe last week inspired me to challenge myself to making a 5 minute soba noodle lunch, it ended up taking 13 minutes because I HAVE A GARLIC OBSESSION and it takes 7 minutes to freakin peel and mince all of it! Lol you have the best recipe ideas ❤

I preordered the book!!! I think Asian cuisine is one of the yummiest out there!!! It’s so versatile and in most cases vegan friendly (except when they put fish sauce in the dish:/). However I am endlessly excited to cook more Asian dishes. I never tried Korean dishes!!
