That is probably the largest one I have seen most of them I see are very decorative and very round. Most get blown down or break from the weight of the limbs

Be carful when dragging ladders on the edge of gutters, you can take the finish off of them if there aluminum. Also aluminum gutters dent. It’s best to have one of the stand-off attachments so your don’t on them at all.

I hate cutting those trees because the thorns they have and it's just gonna grow right back if they don't have the stump and roots ground up. I guess some of those pear apple trees don't have the thorns but all the ones I've cut down did. I done a young pear apple/Bradford pear tree this tuesday it was full of thorns but I had plenty of dropping space for it so i done one cut

Yes I’ve done tree work for 40 years. I hate fucking ladders. Their way scarier than being 80 foot in tree. I think it’s because they’re not secure. And you know yourself when you’re tied in the right place you can do anything. Yes 57 years old and still climbing.
Corey you knew better than to rig that big piece like that! Could of been bad if that came on the other side of the lead! Rig smaller pieces and use peel cuts that release the tension slowly.
My cave man approach would have been to just drop the whole tree then cut it up from the ground. I'm sure I'd have a good fail video to share after. So glad to see you like this Corey. Hoping for even better things to come your way.
not trying to tell anyone their job, but the few times i had to be on a roof like that i had a harness that was secured either on the building itself or on the truck opposite the roof i was working on. i know too many roofers that have died/are handicapped for life and they all had years of experience...
I started watching your videos about 2 years ago when I was first learning to saw. I volunteer as part of a chainsaw crew doing disaster cleanup after hurricanes, tornadoes, etc. We take classes but nothing replaces actual experience from someone who does this every day, so when I found your channel I dove in. Fast forward 2 years and I've gone from a bum that had never touched a saw to a bum that mentors new volunteers, trying to pay forward all the knowledge I got from you and others. You're a humble guy and I can see you trying to downplay your contributions, but I'm telling you, seeing the light turn on when I repeat something to a new guy/girl that I learned from you...I wish you could see it. For now just know that after Hurricane Ida, the KY tornado, the TN floods, Midwest tornadoes, and whatever future bullshit mother nature has planned for us, there are people in the field using your knowledge to help other humans in need, trying to make this world better. i know little about tree work but wouldn't a battery powered saw be better for climbing seeing as you stop and start a gas saw so many times (i realize you dont choose the saw and the companys owner does) whats your thoughts on the higher end battery powered saws
Those are the worst example of trees, they are horrible, brittle, and invasive...u wouldn't believe whole fields ruined an overgrown with those! But they make great wood t cook over in my stove!
