You may be right my friend..... If not THE greatest then it's tied as top 1 with Tools- Wings for Marie/10,000 days but definitely wouldn't disagree with you.
Every once in a while I'm very afraid of what's happening to you Eddie, you're the last pioneer of the grunge era alive (Lead singer), please never die. You must be surprised to be alive, all your colleagues have already died in similar conditions, please do not be the same, you are a legend but you don't need to end up like the others.
Diggarci he did his job, and still doing so, like others said he’s life like the rest of us, but he accomplished musically, good on him, he’s still kicking ass obviously, and we all must keep giving it our all, god bless I’m just some dude
@christemple66 What realm would that be? lol I am not even a fan of blind melon but they were a very relevant grunge band at the time. Your a millennial uh?? lol
I'm so glad I witnessed the 90s first hand and saw every great band from the 90s in their prime. Eddie you are truly the greatest frontman since Mercury. RIP Layne, Chris, Kurt, Scott and Andy. Makes me sad to see us all growing old but glad were still here. 90s music especially PJ brings me back to those times when everything was great, no stress, no worries. We had our music and there will never be anything like it again. Long live Pearl Jam.
What an emotional song. Gets to me after all these years when first hearing it. Remember the thoughts it brought up then. I'm now 47 and living with Lou Gehrig's Disease. All I think of is my wife and all she will shoulder after I'm gone. "I hope you'll be a star in somebody else's sky, but why can't it be mine?" I love you babe.
I've been listening to various kinds of music, ranging from rock and roll, 60's, 70's, 80's,90's, techno, classical, metal, trance, psychedelic rock, especially blues and jazz, but when I started listening to this song and Pearl Jam in general I've lost myself and yet, found everything I was searching for.
Lol almost nobody listens to Rock, it’s all reggaeton and trap, which is awful in my opinion. And the Little Rock they listen to is from Argentina which isn’t as good
@@kingexclusivo I am talking about older people from 80` 90` even now on every place kids have trash taste for music, rock is almost dead these days..auto tune on!
No worries kids, Eddie and Keith Richards have a scheduled tour together in 2075 and both have promised to stay alive until at least completion of said tour. So that's cool. ( i hope to be there too. ) 😉
It’s so sad I’m 13 and I am absolutely obsessed with the grunge era I think It is the best music by far with the best singers and people in it and pearl jam are my favourite band but it’s so sad that I didn’t get to experience the grunge era first hand and that all the grunge legends are dead and please god don’t take Eddie he’s to precious
This is one of the greatest songs of all time and I've heard it ONE time from '92--2020 on terrestrial radio and I've driven 750,000miles in that time span. Pourquoi, Pourquoi, Pourquoi???
Awesome song, hope Eddie & PJ tour for another 15yrs!!! ....BTW, any Chileans on here that are old enough to remember the US (thru CIA) led coup back in the early 70s that installed a military junto? A lot of great people "disappeared" bc of their beliefs----very sad time.
