Go D. Usopp his voice isn't broken 😊 just sounds different now than before which is normal. he can still make the same noise but not as easily cause vocal chords age along with the rest of the body
Tim Burke but fair warning he isn't really doing it with proper technique so he's really hitting his vocal chords pretty hard. So if you try to copy that style just make sure you do it correctly, cuz he didnt and you can hear how much it has effected his voice.
Everything about this song is spot on. Eddies vocal delivery, the lyrics, the guitar riff, the drums, etc. Everything falls into place perfectly with the message this song is conveying.

Wow! I've never heard this song live and I wasn't sure how well it could stand up to the studio version since he sings so much higher and louder than most of their other songs, but they all just totally kicked my ass! As much as I've always loved Ten and Five Against One this song is just in an entirely different stratosphere! It's an H bomb explosion!! Or should I say, "IT'S EVOLUTION BABY!"?

Can we talk about that not only Eddie's voice and the band is great, but also those lyrics! How it talks about the power of people from upper class; and the country they rule are corrupted and its citizens display a herd behaviour. Something we still encounter today, sadly.

On the second ‘admire me, admire my home’ it’s ‘admire my son, admire my clothes’ and then ‘consider this, appetite for a nightly feast’ Eddie’s kind of known for messing up his own lyrics though, or slightly changing them from one performance to the next, so it’s possible your lyrics are totally correct on some other live version. I remember one show where he started it ‘ I am ahead, I am the man, I’m the first man to shit my pants’. no idea why… but it was pretty funny.

Most underrated song ever.... This song is liricly and instrumently perfect. I can perfectly hear the bass guitar, drums and the two guitars very clearly. No need to speak about Eddie's vocal lol
