It gets real sad, because by the end, he passes away... and it’s brutal and very powerful and very moving. But tonight, this is a very special occasion, because he is coming back to life. Please, would you join me in welcoming to the stage, my great, great pal Bradley Cooper.
Bradley has previously said in interviews that his Jackson Maine character was inspired in part by Eddie Vedder. The movie, 'A Star Is Born', was Oscar-nominated for Best Picture and Cooper for Best Actor. 'Maybe It’s Time' was the first time Cooper and Vedder performed together, and for Pearl Jam's final song, a cover of Neil Young’s 'Rockin’ in the Free World', Bradley came out to sing along and play tambourine!
Bradley Cooper was also at BottleRock's Culinary Stage, cooking Danny and Coop's Cheesesteaks with co-owner Danny DiGiampietro. Bradley later threw the cheesesteaks into the crowd with the help of Stephen Curry and José Andrés!
