No matter the price point, Pearl puts out a quality product. That’s why they are at the top every year. Great sound, easy to tune, stays in tune, great looking finishes in every series. I have a Session Studio Select snare in Ice Blue Oyster I got for my birthday last year. I will eventually get the whole kit in that finish. Love Pearl Drums. Always have.

Just bought myself a Pearl Masters Complete All Maple in Matte Black as and it's without a doubt the best sounding, best feeling work-horse of a kit I've ever owned. I've done all the custom kits, all the boutique companies and styles and plenty of other production kits from other companies and I've just never been able to find the quality, sound and feel like Pearl has. So pleased with it. Oh and I finally got me some Demon-Drives. Lol. Also incredible hardware..

There is something about that sound that's just great. It has the perfect blend of vintage round and warm sound with modern punch. Vintage sounding drums with round-over bearing edges lack punch; modern super-thick/sharp shells lack decay. Those are the absolute perfect blend of both.

I reckon 8x7, 10x7, 12x8 sounds friggen mint tho. If you want power tom videos, why not search up some? There's bound the be some. I aint a fan of big bulky toms personally tho, so I wouldn't know but there seems to be a bit of everything around these days

I've been a Tama man with sabian cymbals for 20 + years,but that kit sounds Fkn Amazing!! If i was to ever convert,that kit would be the 1 to do it! Thoroughly impressed with the kit,and ofcourse the man playing them!!

Love the sound of these drums!! BTW you don’t have to believe me but if you want to know it is tuned using the B Minor arpeggio, the floor tom is tuned in B of the lower octave, the 12 tom is in D, the 10 tom is in F# and finally the 8 tom is in B of the upper octave. Almost any drum with good open thin heads back and front and well tuned using an arpeggio will sound very very good. Try if if you dare jaja...

Not to offend any brand. Though I don't own a Pearl kit myself, all of them that I've played really really sounded great, and where tuned so easily. And the hardware is amazing as well.
