These are pearls from freshwater mussels. They are not as rare as marine pearls therefore not as valuable.

These are beads made of plastic or glass, then coated with different colorings before being put into the shells by humans.

No such gold pearl exists in nature. I love watching these when I get sick of looking at Donald Trump in court. A much needed happy break to look at this silliness instead of real world hate.
