Hat Kid: Helps a bunch of people and makes friends in the time she spends on a foreign planet; swears. Mustache Girl: Tries to rule the world, murders people if she deems it nessecary, and never apologizes for any of her actions; *never swears.*
I mean, children do tend to swear when they hear a word, which Hat Kid is obviously a kid. The Spongebob episode is no exception. Mustache Girl is more mature and has way too much pride in her.

This really shows how different grooves is from the conductor While Grooves was pretty upset,he just told you to move on, and kinda went along with it The Conductor would've pecking killed you for messing up his movie.

I just love how impressionable Hat Kid is. She learns these new words and immediately just goes around saying them not caring about what they mean or if it's an appropriate time to use them. It's so precious.
Fun Fact: One PC there's an achievement titled "Why?" where when the C.A.W. Agents are Interviewing you if you type a curse word you get the achievement. You get it if you type "Peck"
I redid the mission once and answered without using fowl language. If you do that, DJ Dahlen will drone on about that being how Hat Kid keeps a slim figure.
In my own personal playthrough of A Hat In Time, Picture Perfect ended up being Hat Kid's most popular movie, scoring over 1000 points. Maybe it was because, in my headcanon, Hat Kid was pretending to be a naive up-and-coming child actress who said peck on-screen out of curiosity (it being a swear word that she's never acknowledged before), tried to convince a cardboard dog to climb down from the statue before deciding to apologize and leave it to have some privacy (only for it to later disappear on its own), and thought that she was playing a game of Uno instead of Go-Fish (though D.J. Grooves did mistakenly say that she guessed the right answer was 3 instead of Uno).
