Gregory Peck, one of the greatest of all time. He starred in so many classics, it's hard to recommend just a few. I'd say definitely watch: .The Gunfighter (1950) [Fantastic Psychological Western, Perfect performance from Gregory] .Guns Of Navarone (1961) [One of the best War Adventure films ever made, also with Anthony Quinn and David Niven] .Cape Fear (1962) [The original version which is the best in my opinion, Peck and Robert Mitchum are fantastic] .Spellbound (1945) [Hitchcock classic with Peck and Ingrid Bergman] .Yellow Sky (1948) [Underrated Psychological Western with Peck and Richard Widmark. If you like The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre, you'll like this one] Gregory Peck is one of the all-time great actors. A Golden Age Hollywood Legend, great man onscreen and off and deserves to have his cinematic legacy remembered. Thanks for the tribute.

I never saw a film of his that I did not like. I had an interesting discussion with him in person about the film, "The Gunfighter," 1950.

In San Diego, probably around 1960, my folks bought a tiny little neighborhood grocery store at 32nd St and Grape St Well, just a couple blocks away from his Dad's home. , Gregory Peck's Dad lived 2 blks from our tiny store. There were a couple times when Gregory & his Dad came into our store to buy ice cream!! I was maybe only 10yrs old... and had no idea what a star & his dad were in my Mom's tiny store What fantastic memories.
