How are you planning on recharging it? Tripped the breaker? Wow, guess the surge on that AC is pretty big. Finished the video, and heard you had a genny, Be safe over there, I got the west side over here in the panhandle
That E3600 is a new model from Pecron. You must have just got it recently. I've had their E2000LFP for about a year now and have been quite happy with it. Glad you're safe and your home is still intact.
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! Subscribed for updates. I’ve been doing some testing myself, and the amount of power my meter is telling me vs advertised capacity is quite different. I’m getting to zero percent on about 2200 watts. Is this normal?
Wont power it long at all with the ac running. Also how are you going to charge it when the power runs out unless you have a decent wattage solar set up?? You are way better off with a good gas invertor generator. Will run higher loads and just refill. With solar generator it can take hours to recharge and only if you have sun if the power is still out. Good Idea to have both kinds on hand.
I just 2 of these exact units. 0-100 charge in about 3.5 hours. Our power outage here in Reno are typically because of a wild fire or a snow storm and typically the outages only affect certain parts of town. When my Perron hits zero I am planning to take it to a part of town(friends house or business) and charge up the Perron and bring it back home assuming and plug back in my refrigerator, etc assuming the power outage is still happening.
Nice! I have a similar setup with Ecoflow. Have 2 suggestions. Get a Midea inverter AC. They are awesome and use inverter technology. Second suggestion is to get a 12v to 48vdc converter. I use my car for this and get 720W coming in as faux solar to my Delta Pro. It's a covert way to charge when I don't want to run my 3000w inverter generator to mass charge.
Thanks! I was going to get the Midea AC but it was out of stock when I needed and AC a while back. I also purchased the Pecron 12 to 48VDC converter and have it installed in my 2022 Ford Maverick. I'll have a set of MC4 outlets in the bed as well as near the hitch so I can charge as I tow my camper. I also have plans to max out the solar with a semi-portable setup.
Oh my goodness, look at the cables running everywhere, look how much it can run, impressive, not really. Keep pushing the loads, and that high frequency chipset is gonna fry, as they all do. Bluetti, Ecoflow, there all the same, cheaply made high frequency chinese crap. Solar generators are great, low frequency is transformer based units, real power proven day in and day out, yrs on end, and they are repairable, unlike the chinese junk, when they break, and they will, they are put in the trash, money straight lost. So I'm not really impressed, but glad it got you through. Titans, from Point Zero Energy, the only portable low frequency solar generators on the market. Proven 24 hrs a day non stop for over 5 yrs straight and still trucking. Piss poor planning leads to cables running everywhere. Good pre-planning, 1 cable will supply the whole house. JM2C
@butterless96 I have one, actually I have 2 Titans and 15kw in batteries, 5 kw solar on my roof, a 5500w continuous gas generator, and enough sense to know how to use them, don't hate on me for the truth, sometimes the truth hurts, but it's still the truth. The only truth I'm hearing from your comment is,don't tell the truth,it might hurt a snowflakes feelings
