PRE-ORDER YOURS TODAY !!!!! *PECRON* (website) www.pecron.com/#ref=145 Save extra 5% with promo code *GOGREEN* P.S. Forget that the Ac500 can have 6 batteries for 18,000wh (36,000wh for 2), so that is still a larger system than this one.

I’m not sure how you would use that 30 amp charging cable. Most household outlets are rated at 20 amps. I guess if needed you could have an electrician install a 30 amp outlet but I’m not sure why you would need to charge it that fast. Plus charging that fast would shorten your battery life.

It would be nice if they sent you one Bob. I think you would do more justice to this particular brand then any channel out there. Your going to put hours and hours of video on this while the people who will get it for nothing will give it 20 minutes at most. I have put up more then 5 grand towards these systems because of your hours and hours of work on them. I'll just keep rooting for you Bob and hope pecron does the right thing. Great video as always thanks for the heads up.

I think I'll wait a while to order this and the expansion batteries, maybe a year. Let them work out the bugs & glitches and are inherent in new systems. I have the E2000LFP w/ both batteries and it performs fantastic running a fridge, freezer, and de-humidifier in my basement 24/7 on solar. Specs look great for the E3600. I hope you will do a review on it when you get one.

Hello, Pecron states this E3600LFP can use 4 expansion batteries. I'm wondering if combining two e3600lfps, to get 240v, would allow 8 expansion batteries (if someone had so much money they didn't know what to do with it today 😂)?
@RamblinBobReviews

Yes, you can hook up 4 batteries to each e3600lfp :) That will give you 30,000wh of battery capacity to use at 240v (4 batteries each + main is 15,000wh each)) P.S. That is 1/3 of the power that we are aiming at for our dream system :) (100,000wh) (aka BIG BOY TOYS) YEAH BUDDY !!!!! After watching this video and the one with the manual and thinking about the changes. I am thinking that they will stop producing the E2000LFP within a year. I would not be surprised if they stopped all the 24V products. The E3000 had 2 to 3 years production. I could be wrong. I am also wondering what changes will come with the next one they release in this size or larger. I am giving it a year for the new product. This tech is changing fast right now. Kinda reminds me of the early years of computers. Part of me is trying to figure out how I could make room for a system like this along with the E3000 and E2000LFP I have. I am for sure I would need to come up with a different method of charging a larger system like this. Having to haul this in and out of the house and shed (6 panels are on the shed along with two ground mounted panels) would be a major pain due to having five pieces (base plus 4 batteries). Taking the loss of using the smaller units to charge a system like this might be worth it.
@RamblinBobReviews
@RamblinBobReviews 3 месяца назад
Yep, seems like the 48v systems are where they are going to.... We still love our e2000lfp and will continue to use it until it does not work anymore. our plan so far is... e3600lfp (run the wholes workshop) (15,000wh) e2000lfp (run the whole rv) (8,000wh) e1500lfp (portable for outside stuff and events) (1,500wh)

@@RamblinBobReviews I plan to use my units as long as I can. At least try to make them worth having and paying for themselves some. They work great and do what I have used them for so far. It was getting close on the computer UPS needing to be hooked up to keep the computer working.
@RamblinBobReviews

One thing that solar power has taught us, It is not how much power you have, it is how you use that power. 1. Lights are all low power draw led now. 2. We also found the lenovo cabon X1 series laptops (Uses as low as 6 watts up to 30 watts for I-7 10710u) (That is a 10th gen I-7 chip, A lot of power for a laptop) 3. Freezers that are coffin/trunk style (much better on power) 4. USB style ceiling fans (uses only 6 watts) 5. 90% of my tools are dewalt 20v (stored power in their own batteries for an emergency) With those items, we could have a power outage with a smaller power station (2,000 watts) and last a whole day now :)

@@RamblinBobReviews Oh how true. I saw a video on RU-vid of a guy (The 8-Bit Guy) (video title "Big Solar Test - 24 Hours without power") in Texas that had a good size setup with panels (two groups) (3.555 kwh and 1.6 kwh and 400 watt portable panel) and Bluetti batteries (6 KWH and not sure of studio batteries size). I forget how much storage he had but it was several KWHs. He had the batteries connected to a emergency panel for a studio and a separate unit for other areas. He tried going 24 hours with no electricity on a 107 degree day to see if he was ready. He used two window AC units and a EcoFlow Wave 2 Solar Battery Powered Portable Air Conditioner to cool select rooms. He did ok during the day. The rooms did not stay as cool as he was hoping but ok. He ran out of stored power during the night. He stopped at 17 hours. Thinking he could have gone maybe 4 to 5 more hours just cooling the bedroom. But wife got home about midnight .He did not make 24 hours. The big usage was the AC units. Some good lessons in the video. He did have some panels on his fence using metal brackets he made. You have to plan every thing out. In thinking about what I would do and what to run, I have learned a few things about how long the batteries / units would last. When you have a all electric house the big concerns are heat and AC and that takes a lot or power.

Hi Bob I have a few questions: 1) what do they mean “bidirectional” PSW inverter? 2) can this unit be upgraded via Wi-Fi updates to fix bugs? 3) how would you use the 3,200 watt charging cable? Doesn’t that exceed household current of 1800/2400 watts? When would you be able to input 3200 watts from AC? 4) they say Anderson port but did they mean xt-60 port? Also, it looks like they have a deal on the Perron 1500. Did they upgrade that one as well? Maybe you should do a separate video on that one. Thanks!
@RamblinBobReviews
@RamblinBobReviews 3 месяца назад
Thank you for the comment :) 1. The ac inverter is used both ways for charging and discharging the system :) 2. The app is used for any firmware updates if they have any :) 3. 3,200 watts is huge so you would need a more powerful outlet than the normal house outlet :) 4. That is an XT-60 port P.S. We have done many videos on the e1500lfp system already :) *we are on "update 10" already on the channel :)

Thanks for the video. It seems like a nice system. It looks like you have to turn the expansion batteries the other way (battery connectors on the right side) as opposed to the E1500LFP (battery connectors on the right side). I like the move away from the aviation ports for solar input. The EP3000 battery pack still has the aviation style plug for input. I wonder if they will add in a new connector or if there is an adapter cord available.

Yes, they are on the right side of the system now. Also very much like moving away from the 5 pin aviation ports, XT-60 connectors can be found almost anywhere :) I have a feeling they will make people buy the charging bricks separate if they want to charge through the batteries :( (just my guess)

Since each E3600LFP can support 4EBs for 15kWh, a pair of E3600LFPs with the 240V box would be a 30.6kWh 240V system! That's whole home right there! Agreed their surge kinda sucks. My E2000LFP can't support my gas dryer starting up while my 1200W power station can. As a whole home system, surge is important also, so hopefully they've improved their surge circuitry. The batteries style was built for the e2000lfp, and since the e1500lfp had less batteries inside, that is what made it look weird. glad that the e3600lfp will fit them perfect again :)

Two of them connected with that split phase box together gives it split phase 240 volt capability. With that setup it can be used as a whole home backup and run every load including 240 volt HVAC systems, stoves/ranges and clothes dryers.

Putting all of those batteries behind the main unit means you can't charge via AC walkout. Correct?

You charge the batteries on the side of the units :) So you have access to everything :)

@ramblinBobReviews I have a question, not sure if you have addressed or not. When I use my 1500LFP in UPS mode with solar input attached, will it use that solar input and pass it through? Like if the load is 1000w and I have 400w solar coming in through DC, will it only use 600w AC? edit: assuming the battery is 100% and in UPS mode.

Solar acts the same as the grid, but does not have the UPS Power will pass through to the items used and also charge the battery When you have the UPS from the grid, The energy goes to the items used and what is left over to the battery so yes, using 1,00 watts (-400 watts from solar) = 600 watts from the grid :)

@@RamblinBobReviews thanks for responding, i did a quick test today. It looks like you are correct when the battert is not 100%. Looks like once the pack hits 100% in UPS it just passes AC power directly through. Pretty cool still, I wish the app/system had the ability to turn AC input off as a software switch or atleast talk with other systems. Would really like it get 1500lfp into Home Assistant. Application would be powering a window AC unit at night and switching AC input on if the battery pack hits 15%. Still great product at the price point in my book. Ability to limit AC input to like 400w would be another great feature.

Pecron is getting better and adding bnew features to their products, it is still a budget brand, so let's hope that they add even more features to the future power stations. having things like auto off and controlled charging cut-off would be great. :)
