I do offroading too. Have pedal commander installed but honestly it's not recommended

It is still no clear for me will help you for off road driving in the desert.

Eric Spijker if you are in soft sand I would avoid it or use it carefully because you could dig and get stuck, but on harder sand or fast drives it can be fun. The ECO or CITY settings, dosing very slowly the acceleration, can help you to get traction and get unstuck
