Time for a pedalboard power supply upgrade! I've had the same power supplies for seven years, and while my old power supplies are working perfectly well, I've run out of high-current ports. So I'm really excited to show you the CIOKS DC7 and CIOKS 8... my new power supplies. I expect them to last for the next seven years. They are built like tanks, and the design is extremely impressive. Guest-starring Sophie the cat.
Quick note... in the video, I state the CIOKS DC7 supplies 600mA of power per port, when in fact, it supplies 660mA per port. Sorry about that!!!

Cioks is far superior to other power supplies. I use the Cioks 4 & 7 daily. Watching Rig Rundown and I find it laughable seeing old pedal power units on professional rigs.

@@AaronRusch I started with the 4 and as I got more pedals I upgraded to the 7. It's cool how they link together. I did lots of research before buying, but after watching Poul Ciok demonstrate the products I was sold.

Damn. I did my research and narrowed it down to the same 3 choices you had. I decided on a DC10, used. It arrived with only the power cable, nothing else. I was disappointed, and began the process of returning it, but ended up purchasing a brand new one as well. I thought: I have 16 pedals on my board, one requires 24V. So, I'm currently struggling with the idea of having 2 DC10s under my board...but need the 24V option....I'm just now learning about the details of pedals and power supplies. I feel unsettled about my choice, perhaps you can help me resolve my situation, as i prefer to keep things as simple and consolidated as possible.

Hi there! CIOKS just came out with something called a CIOKOLATE, which is their 25th anniversary power supply. Coincidentally enough, the CIOKOLATE has 16 outlets, and 1 of them is a 24 volt (100 mA) outlet, so maybe that's something to look into? If the amerpages match up to your needs, that might be the simplest and most consolidated solution. Hope that helps!

@@AaronRusch i was afraid of that, lol. Thank you for your reply. I will look into it....right now, in fact. Yep! That's the route i will take! I will return the 2 DC10s tomorrow, thank you. I avouded looking into it for 2 lame reasons, potential cost (which is next to nothing), and, the color! But it'll be hiding under the board! I can be pretty retarded at times! Much appreciated, thanks!
