I see other responses. It seems like they are kinda acting with true admiration coming out. Pedro gushes admiration cuz that always makes people think love. Vanessa smiles keeps her attention and posture guided to Pedro but is quick with all signs of affection rather stiff when she shows it and quickly resets into position. Even when he is touching her elbow it’s like she grabs the hand and briskly straightens both their arms so that the intimate upper arm touch is stopped. I think to show her significant other she is controlling the situation when needed. Or too deflect 😅
I think Vanessa is married not to sure but they are amazing together she held his hand because he had anxiety and he is a touchy person when he is anxious and I get that I wish I could meet him ❤
People are so dumb. They’re selling the romance to get the fans excited to see the movie or else it’ll flop. It’s all dependent on their chemistry and selling us a dream. They’re salesman trying to sell us a product that we will eventually pay for once it’s in stock.
lol that's so cynical it's just funny ngl. it's possible, but like, dude, look at them. looks like real chemistry to me. not syaing that means it'll go anywhere, but that looks like real tension to me. they're just both very attractive and secure in themselves so it's just kinda there and accepted more i feel like.
I've seen so many times actors having incredible chemistry (romantic or platonic) but that not translating into the movie. I really hope Reed and Sue do have this dynamic in First Steps
Dunno about them being a thing. But I know Pedro has been honest and open about his anxiety. Part of the reason you see him most of the time with his hand on his torso is because he said it helps him breathe. It’s something that grounds him and keeps him calm. I think when he’s asking for Venessa to hold his for some contact he’s asking for her help because he’s having an anxiety attack. It’s a very genuinely human and beautiful thing. I don’t care that they’re together. I care that they’re honest with each other and help each other out in moments like this.
The thing about Pedro pascal is that he has anxiety and one thing he does is try to comfort himself by being touched by someone to cope and so I’m pretty sure why they held hands at comic con on stage
People are looking way too much into this. She's been in a long term relationship with someone else for awhile now and he's been single af for years. They're just playing it up for PR for the movie lol

Remember past Fantastic 4 films failed. Fantastic 4 is the black sheep of the Marvel universe in cinematic form. This film has to succeed no matter what. There are no excuses. Their chemistry, real or fake, is needed regardless.
